" Ah you must be the new girl. Mr Dean" He said sticking out his hand to shake mine
He was a short black man with a wide smile.
" Tamera Walker " I replied shaking his hand.
"Okay class settle down" he shouted
With that the class had become silent.
" We have a new student in our class. Her name is Tamera. I want to make sure that you welcome her and make her feel at home. " He introduced.
"Don't worry I'll make her feel at home." Justin yelled winking at me
" Take a seat in the in the free seat in the fourth row behind Isaac "
" Ok."I replied before walking to my seat
I had found myself sitting in the seat behind the boy who I bumped into. So his name was Isaac. I just hoped that this boy wasn't going to cause me problems.
End of school day
" How was your first day" Tara asked me
" It was fine but this school so Ghetto" I answered
"Cause the school is full of black people . What way you going home? "
" I can take any bus from the bus stop round the corner. "
"Cool so you can go home with me"
"Sure"
" We normally go chill at someone's house after school, we're going Alexis yard. You coming. "
"I don't know Alexis well and I don't think she wants a stranger in her house"
" You ain't no stranger she's met you and you know me so your set.
