𝑐ℎ𝑎𝑝𝑡𝑒𝑟 11. || 𝑂𝑓𝑓𝑖𝑐𝑖𝑎𝑙

As we walked down the hallways I felt him grab onto my hand. I looked down at it and back up at him.

I gave him a smile and continued walking down the empty hallways.

I was a bit confused as to where we were going until we ended up at Hogsmeade after a short while.

He lead me through the people and snow droppings landing on us. He stopped for a second and I crashed into his back.

"You okay?" he asks me.

"Yeah I'm fine" I say reassuring him.

"Well here we are" he says smiling down at me.

I look to where he was standing in front of and realize we're at the Three Broomsticks.

My eyes glistened at the sight of the icicles hanging from the shop. I've never been to Hogsmeade before since I never had anyone to go with.

He leads us inside and we take a table in the far corner away from anyone else.

We both order a Butterbeer. I can't wait to try it.

The waiter come over and sets down our drinks on the table.

I take the handle of the foaming drink and take a small sip. It was sweet and really good.

"You like it?" he asks.

"Yes, it's really good, thank you!" I said.

He gives a small chuckle, "Anything for my little girl" he says.

I look away in embarrassment. That damn pet name again. I felt his thumb grab onto my chin making me look at him.

"You've got something," he says as he wipes a bit of the foam on my lip off.

"Oh, thank you" I say with a small smile a little bit embarrassed.

After we were finished we headed out and went back to Hogwarts. Since it's Sunday we have all day to hang out.

That's if, he wants to.

We got to Hogwarts and he quickly grabs a hold of my hand and led us to his dorm.

When we got there he closed the door and locked it. His dorm mates were gone so it's just the two of us in the dorm.

He sat down on the floor by the fireplace and started to light it. (all the dorms now have a fireplace) I scurried over to him and plopped down next to him.

Admiring the colors of the fire and crackling noise of the burning wood.

I felt a pair of arms wrapped around my waist and pull me close. I look up at Newt in awe.

We both just sit in silence admiring the fireplace until he spoke.

"Hey, can I ask you something" he says.

"Yeah" I said leaning my head on his shoulder.

"Well, we've been really close for a while and I wanted to know if you'd like to be my girlfriend?" He said looking down at me.

I was a bit taken a back. This is what i've always wanted, to be his.

I look him in the eyes and respond.

"I thought you'd never ask" I say with a smile.

He smiled down at me and gives me a passionate kiss.

"You know, i've liked you for a while now, but I didn't want to admit the feelings I had. Because I thought you didn't like me." I said playing with my fingers.

He chuckles a bit "What a ridiculous thought, you should've just trusted your gut there." he says winking.

"It's getting a bit late you should head back to your dorm and get some sleep." he says with a soothing voice.

"But I want to stay with you.." I say, a bit needy at this point.

"You're going be a good little girl and go to bed, alright?" he says.

"Yes sir!" I say quickly and give him a kiss.
I hurry out of the dorm and back to mine.

I collapse on my bed smiling to myself. I cant believe it. All this is just amazing.

I'm getting this feeling in my stomach, like there's tiny butterflies fluttering around.

I sigh in relief and start to get ready for bed.

I decided to call it a night and start to drift off to sleep. Thinking about everything we've done is just giving me so much rush.

I can't believe it, we're official.
