𝑐ℎ𝑎𝑝𝑡𝑒𝑟 18. || 𝐼'𝑚 𝑆𝑜𝑟𝑟𝑦

It's now only one week before our sixth year is over. Time flew by so quick. I hope next year will be a great year.

But, I know I have to tell Newt about me leaving England and going to America. I haven't told him that bit yet.

I was planning on telling him today but now i'm not so sure.

I had three classes today so school went by quickly today. I left my last class trying to find Newt so I can get this off my chest.

I spot him leaning against the wall reading a book. I walk up to him and take the book out of his hands so he looks at me.

"What are doing doing there darling" he says leaning down giving me a kiss.

"Just wanted to spend time with you" I say.

He crosses his arms and raises an eyebrow "Okay spill it, what's going on?" he says.

"Nothing!" I snap back "Sorry, it's just. Follow me" I say taking his hand and leading him to the (y/h) common room.

I take a seat at the couch as he sits next to me and wraps his arm around my waist.

"So what's up love?" he asks look at me.

"Okay I'm gonna tell you, but you can't get mad or anything like that. Okay?" I say worrying he'll be upset about me leaving.

"Yeah? Just tell me what's going on (y/n)" he says getting a bit impatient.

"Okay, well you know how next year will be our last year at Hogwarts. Well," I brass myself. Taking a deep breath before telling him the news.

"Ever since my mother passed. I have no where to go after I leave and-" he cuts me off.

"Well you can stay with me! There's a small cottage not to far and we can stay there, together" he says smiling.

I sigh, "Newt look, I have to go to America after Hogwarts" I blurt out looking at the floor.

"What do you mean? Why are you going?" he asks

"I just, have to. It was my mother's wish if she ever died before I left school and yeah. There's a family out there that I will be staying with." I say

"I can't believe it, I can't believe you never TOLD ME!" he says snapping at me.

"What?" I question.

"You never told me you'd be leaving! Why didn't you? Did you not trust me or something?" he says.

"No! Its not that! It's just I didn't want you to worry and stuff" I say.

"And stuff?! Well you should've told me when we started dating! I-" he says. He seems tense, I told him not to get angry.

"I have to go." he says getting up.

"Wait!" I say grabbing onto his hand. "I'm sorry, Newt."

And with that he left. He left me alone, in the common room.

I put my head in my hands and just cry. I've always held my tears in but I felt the need to just let everything out.

It was good ten minutes until I decided to just go back to my dorm. I laid on my bed sprawled put string up at the ceiling.

I began to close my eyes and drift off to sleep. Trying to forget everything that happened. I just wanted it to be all over.

I want to go to America but, I can't leave Newt. But he's staying here. He's told me that he's going to continue doing research on Magical Creatures.

It's always been his dream to learn about the nature of them. Others found it kinda silly but, that honestly seems cool. Just alone, in the nature.

Sounds relaxing. I started to clear my mind and slowly fell asleep.
