I was still thinking about what Sandra had said before. I knew that at this school there were many different races. I also knew that I wasn't going to follow society's rule and was going to be friends with Linn. That's all I knew.
Today in art class I had the same class as Linn. I decided to sit next to her because she was lonely. "Hi Linn! My names Xemina." I said enthusiastically. "Um, Hi." She said shyly. I could notice her tough accent. Then when I opened my mouth and ask her if she wanted to hangout sometime I got interrupted by Sandra and her friends "Xemia! What do you think you are doing you idiot? She's Asian you imbecile!". I responded with a: "well Sandra , I'm meeting Linn. And if your still living by society's rule then go ahead, but I'm not going to live my life not knowing what's around the corner".
