You didn't realize how much a fan Tom was of Jay. He apparently loved Jay's first interview so much that he invited him back for a part 2. You hadn't told Tom the entire truth about why you left Jay mid-tour, and frankly, it was none of his business anyway.

It felt like the interview was lasting forever as you sat at the receptionist desk answering phone calls and taking care of other tasks. What could possibly be SO interesting about Jay that they wanted him back again? Who were you kidding? EVRYTHING about Jay was interesting. He was successful, hardworking, kind..handsome. SNAP OUT OF IT!

The studio doors opened and everyone filtered out from the room, including Tom.

"Jay, I could sit and talk with you all day, man. You've got the mind of a genius and the heart of a winner, and I admire that about you. Buy hey, if you're not too busy tonight, I'd love to take you all out for dinner. My treat!" You learned that Tom was a very generous man in the little time you got to know him, and that he would be wiling to give someone the shirt off his back. He was an older man with no kids at home. Just him and the Mrs. who you hadn't had the chance to meet yet.

"Dinner sounds great. We're actually planning to stay a few more days in town before our final stop." Jay announced.

"Wonderful! Y/N, I'd like for you to come as well. 7PM sound okay?" Tom looked at you with pure and innocent excitement in his eyes.

"Actually sir, as much as I'd love to join you all, I have plans tomorrow and-"

"Nonsense, Y/N. It'll only be for a few hours and Jay's only here for a few days."

"What a shame." You sarcastically spoke.

You all agreed to meet up at one of the most high end restaurants in town that night, and you cursed Tom for being so persistent to having you at dinner. You chose to wear the tightest black dress you owned and perfected your makeup and hair making sure any loose strands were tucked and sprayed in place.

You spritzed on a little bit of your favorite perfume and a knock came to your hotel door. Who could that be? You hadn't requested room service all week. You shuffled over to the door and peeked through the peephole—it was Trina. What the hell was she doing here.

"Y/N, I know you're in there." Trina must have heard you walking up to the door even though you tried to pretend like you weren't there. You opened the door only halfway and showed no expression on your face.

"Y/N, I know I'm the last person you want to see right now but-"

"Actually, it's Jay. Jay is the absolute last person I want to see. You're a close second." You spat back.

"Right. Well, I was hoping to talk to you about...Jay. I don't know who else to go to and you're the only other person that actually knows him well enough to give me some insight." You were definitely interested to hear what Trina needed to say, but what if she was wired, or sent in as a mole to find out information for Jay to run back to tell him. You were hesitant, but you inched the door open further allowing her to enter.

"So, this is home?" She awkwardly asked, judging your cramped hotel space.

"For now, until I find a place. How did you even know I was here?"

"Tom. That man shouldn't have access to important documents. He's not the best at keeping things confidential."

You really wanted Trina to get to the point so you could hurry up and end this conversation - "I'll definitely bring that up in my employee evaluation. So what did you want to talk about?"
