So, my sister told me not to go with my original plan to have [REDACTED] happen, so I am going to go with a different route. However, I AM unpredictably predictable and may have [REDACTED] happen anyways and could just be throwing you off my trail, who knows? :)

Also, the timeline is back in place. All chapters ((as far as I know)) will take place in order.

Jason grunted, tossing himself backwards on the couch. "I don't know! I can't remember! What part of amnesia aren't you understanding?"

Doctor Strange stared coldly at Jason over the top of his glasses. "Think, boy, think." Jason groaned, dropping his head into his hands as a migraine started to come on. Doctor Strange scoffed. "It is almost as if you'd prefer not to have your memories back."

Jason glared at the man. "Shut up. I'm trying."

"Well try harder." Strange spat.

Jason shot up out of his spot on the couch and dove at Strange, wrapping his hands around the man's throat. "I took out the entire Junior Justice League on my own, twice. Don't think for a second that I can't take you on as well."

Strange smirked at Jason. "Well, that is a new memory, is it not?"

Jason blinked, releasing Strange from his grip and stepping back. He looked down at his hands. "I-I don't know where that came from."

Doctor Strange's smirk grew. "I do. Your mind." Jason looked up at the Doctor with a confused expression and the older male rolled his eyes. "You are remembering, you nitwit."

Jason narrowed his eyes at the man. "Insult me again, see where that gets you."

Strange just hummed in response. "Well, I believe we have done some remarkable work so far over the course of the last two weeks, don't you, miss Cheshire?"

Jade looked up from her spot in the kitchen where she was cooking the trio some lunch. "I believe we have, yes. Jason has come a long way in a short time."

Jason grunted. "Still, it is not enough." Jade rolled her eyes, a motion that Jason caught. He turned his glare on her. "I still can't remember why Batman wanted me dead or who he and his family of bats are."

"But you do remember that Batman planned for your first death, that he was the one that got you into the League in the first place, thus ultimately setting you up for your second death." Strange added helpfully, an almost imperceivably sly grin on his face.

"Did I even really die the second time?" Jason turned to Jade. "You were there, Chesh, was I dead?"

Jade paused her chopping to look at the confused amnesiac teen. She shrugged. "I was...sort of not there?"

Jason furrowed his brow. "What do you me - " A  memory bombarded him at that moment.

He and Jade were in Deathstroke's chambers, Jason was covered in wounds and bleeding from the punishment he had received from Deathstroke for not killing the team.

"You ratted me out." Jade spat at the teen.

"What are you talking about? I never - "

"Save it, Red. Batman told me you ratted me out  Deathstroke."

Jason laughed. "You...you trust Batman over your own partner?" Jade said nothing. "Jade, why would I rat you out? What would I gain, huh?"

Jade grunted, averting her eyes from Jason's. He sighed before stumbling over to the desk and snagging a piece of paper and a pen, not looking down as he wrote a message to Jade.

I know the al Ghuls are here, Talia and I had this planned from the beginning. I take out Deathstroke and her father for her, she gets me out of the Shadows. Batman doesn't know, but I found a way to give Control to others so that I am their master. You in?

Jade read the paper carefully after Jason handed it to her. "Is everyone here playing each other?"

"Yeah, basically." He walked to the door, stretching as he went. "You coming?"

Jason blinked and he was back in the living room of his apartment, staring at Strange as Jade cooked them lunch. He looked at the female assassin, an unsure feeling filling him. "Jade...you knew I planned to have myself killed?"

Jade looked up from her cooking  and shrugged. "It was the logical deduction and it is what someone of your background and moral standings would do, so, in short, yes. I knew you planned to have Talia detonate the self destruct in your head."

Jason stared at her for a moment, unsure how to process this new information. "If Talia was the one to detonate the self destruct...why would she be the one to put me in the pit?"

Looking to Strange, who nodded at her, Jade put the knife down and walked around the counter to get closer to Jason. "It wasn't Talia that put you in the pit, Jason. Yes, she allowed the use of her pit, but it was...it was Nightwing who wanted to put you in the pit."

Jason felt his world start to spin. "Nightwing? Why would he care?" Jade gave him a look. "Wait...he was the first Robin wasn't he?" Jade nodded slowly. "And the current Robin is the third Robin...and I was trained by Batman but I died...just like the second Robin did...am I...am I the second Robin?"

Jade looked to Strange, who once again gave his approval for the disclosure of information. Turning back to the distraught teen, Jade sighed. "Yes. You were the second Robin. Batman...he tried to fake your death so you could infiltrate the League of Shadows but it went awry and you actually died. Talia resurrected you and you became Red, Ra's al Ghul's prized pupil."

"I sense some disdain there, Jade." Jason smirked before something dawned on him. "Wait, how do you know so much?" Jade fell silent, walking back to the kitchen to continue cooking lunch. "Jade? What aren't you telling me? How do you know so much about my past?"

Jade looked up from the frying pan. "I...I'm not just your partner in crime in this life, Jason. I was your partner when we were in the Shadows, too."

Jason shook his head. "No, that's not it. There's more to it."

Jade pulled out tongs and began stirring the stir fry. "I...I may be working for Batman."

Jason's eyes widened. "You? Cheshire? Were working for Batman?" She nodded. "Why?"

Smirking, Jade shook the pan. "That, my dear Red, is a story for another time, for when you regain more memories. I don't think you are ready for it."

Jason sighed, resigning himself to continue his session with Strange, who was eyeing Jade. Jason may not have caught her wording but the good ol' doctor sure did. It complicated his plans for the boy.

It was like he suspected, Cheshire presented more problems then she solved, which meant he had to get rid of her.
