The Twins in: Hospital

Got poisoned and wields two gun wounds on his abdomen, That brunet is laying on that white-sheet bed after his surgery, looking pale himself, eyelids hide the beautiful orbs inside as the owner rested for the 3rd day and counting.

The doctors has done their best on flushing out the poison out of his system. And fortunately the young sky didn't catch any fever, therefore he's supposedly able to wake up within the week.

With that being said, everyday there's a little group of his new friends that would visit him, of course At least there would be two of his guardians on his side.

Caelum was admitted to the same hospital and has been awake the very next day. He later told his son how he was captured at home, tortured by them for being a traitor, but at last he smiled, assuring the boy that he'll be okay soon. It took the snow guardian 4 more days to actually smiling again.

Nana and Iemitsu visited their son the very day he was brought in. The two stayed by his side the first two days before going home and returned every visiting hours as Reborn has advised.

Lambo and the children has been crying for hours when they heard the news. Scared that Tsuna wouldn't be able to wake up ever...

Fortunately, as if answering their prayer, weak eyes finally fluster open by exactly a week after he collapsed.

"Dame-Tsuna"

The brunet recognized the voice, still he's looking around. 

"Minna... where are you?" He called softly. Regrettably, there was no one else aside from the hitman at the moment.

'I couldn't sense my elements...' He sighed silently, turning to his mentor, locked eyes for a full second before rolling his eyes then closed them again. Not wanting to deal with him. 

"Dame-Tsuna, don't pretend to sleep"

The brunet doesn't care.

The sun arcobaleno kicked his head. Tsuna grunts, "Use a metal bullet if you wish, I won't even dodge" he added before then went silent again.

Reborn actually stop this time, "You're mad"

Well, no shit.

"I don't regret a thing"

Of course he doesn't

"It was a necessary step, Tsuna" The young Vongola doesn't want to listen, but it's hard not to notice the hitman when he's the only one around. And uh... there's something bugging him, he heard a foreign tone in the Arcobaleno's tone. He was sure that he had heard it once. When was it though?

"Look, It's fine that you wouldn't look at me anymore. I'll still carry on my job as your home tutor, you'll just make it harder for yourself" he heard him shrugs, "At least, you've got some extra support later when you're back at school"

"..."

Oh. So, that's what he's aiming for.

Still, he wanted hear for himself.

"Stop being proud, and tell me why. I don't want to distance myself from you, Reborn. You know it'll be hard for both of us" Tsuna finally said as he glanced at his company. 

"Related to you in any way, they are bound to be target in one way or another, it's better if they are staying on your care from the beginning, no?"

No, that's not the answer he seeks. He could sense the insincerity. There's something more, the sky know that his tutor isn't that shallow. Ulterior motive, The hitman always have one. Of all people, Tsuna understands that.

"...Reborn"

Well fuck, he's using that tone again.

The charm of a broken sky is not one to be underestimated. 

Reborn tipped his fedora down, regretting that he had admitted that himself.

"'Dame-Tsuna', only I can call you that"

Tsuna blinked, Processing on what he just heard. For sure the cursed man won't ever repeat that.

Ah...

The boy actually let out a soft chuckle after a while. "You are the worst, Papà."

"I don't get what you mean~"

Tsuna rolled his eyes, in playful manner this time, "I'm still mad at you. Being overprotective is okay, but give me a warning, can't you?" 

"Where's the fun in that~?"

"Oh? you find it fun to see me laying on hospital bed like this?" Tsuna taunted back. He was expecting another comeback, but it never comes. 

Right.

Reborn hates failure. And seeing his student in hospital is a form of failure. oops. He shouldn't have mentioned that.

"Sorry. I crossed the line—"

"No, you've got a point there"

And then silence.

Tsuna could sense the tension growing and frankly, he despise the awkwardness. So, wrecking his brain, he later speaks up again.

"I take that no body is here because of you as well?"

The fedora man hums, "Got a feeling that you'll wake up soon"

"Heh, don't give me that, you can sense my flames" The boy muses, to which the former smirked.

"Putting all aside, I am still mad at you" Tsuna actually said, it was clear that he wanted something from the hitman. The raven only silently cursing himself for getting too attached to his student.

"What do you want" It was almost a grumble, the brunet just smiled.

"Can you help me set up an event? Festival of sort with fireworks kind of thing?"

Reborn arched a brow, "Willing to have a Bonding time already~?"

"It is summer." Tsuna shrugs. "And I did give them scare. Gotta make up with that."

He then said more, "You can triple my training regiment later, just help me on setting this surprise, please?"

The cursed sun tipped his fedora up, "There's no need to beg, Dame-Tsuna. Consider it done"

Tsuna smiled before then a soft yawn escaping his lips.

"Rest more, I'll inform the others of your awakening"

"No" The brunet rejected the idea. "I'm not ready for the ruckus." He admitted tiredly. 

"Please Just stay by my side a bit longer, Papà. I'm tired" his voice already quietens significantly.

"Heh" Reborn smirked, "I already said, there's no need to beg. Consider it done" 

The young don in training gave him one last smile, genuine this time before then closing his eyes again, granted with a nice dream this time.

"Fai un bel sogno, stupido figlio"  He mutters as he smiled himself. 

It honestly feels great to come clean...
