Colleen's POV

I was making my way over to the Ice cream shop today since it was really hot out today. Once I entered the shop I saw a girl with her with half of her hair in a bun and the rest flowing down. I smiled as I walked over to her. Her name was Jordan, I've known her for a while...well kind of. I've only really came here just so I can talk to her. She was so cool. Every time I order something for me and for her. I'm actually bisexual...so I've been meaning to ask her out on a date. But I'm to scared she'll say no. I want to make sure that were still friends even if she says no. I really don't want to ruin our friendship. I'm going to tell her today though! Even if she says no.

Jordan: "Oh! Hello, Colleen. The usual?"

I nodded as she got me a strawberry popsicle, And she got blue raspberry popsicle for herself. She quickly handed me mine as we went and sat down at our usual table. I couldn't figure out how to tell her. I want to do it so where she'll maybe try a way to let me down nicely.

Jordan: "Hey Colleen!"

Colleen: "Yeah-"

the girl quickly shows me her tongue.

Jordan: "I'm pretty sure my tongue got into a fight with Jack Frost."

I giggled lightly as she said that. That was the other reason I loved her. I was never really picky with who I like. As long as their nice and have a good sprit, I'm fine with that.

Colleen: "J-Jordan, can I ask you a question?"

Jordan: "Mmmmm, wasn't that just a question?"

I chuckled once more before I got serious.

Colleen: "I'm being serious right now Jordan, can I ask you a question?"

Jordan: "Oh- Uhm, sure. What is it Colleen?"

I took a deep breath as I got ready. I was going to ask about her sexuality.

Colleen: "Jordan, what's your sexuality?"

Jordan: "Oh! Well that's an easy question. I'm Bisexual!"

I sighed in relief as she said that. But now here comes the hard part, asking her out on a date.

Colleen: "Really? Me too! Hey Jordan."

Jordan: "Yes Colleen?"

Colleen: "Would you like to go out sometime, maybe when your not working? I heard there was going to be a circus in town next week.."

Jordan: "S-So...kind of like, a date?"

I nodded softly as she spoke.

Jordan: "Well of course then! I love the circus!"

I smiled as she hugged me. I held her hand as she clocked out of work. Then She quickly started dragging me outside. I managed to get some drops of my ice cream and her ice cream on my hand.

Colleen: "Hey Jordan...look."

Jordan: "What is it?"

I quickly pointed to my hand.

Colleen: "Doesn't that remind you of-"

Jordan: "The bisexual flag!"

Jordan: "I see it! The red from your ice cream looks like pink, while mine is blue so when mixed together-"

Colleen & Jordan: "You get purple!"

We both chuckled as we walked back to my house and enjoyed our ice cream.
