Third Person Pov:

Gabrielle's Chanel heels clicked effortlessly across the white marble hallways as she searched for room five thrifty-six.

Each doorway she passed she took a glance at the sliver number plates on the door.

five twenty-two...five twenty-three..five-thirty.... five thirty-six. Her jet black heels stopped abruptly at the glass door.

Suddenly, the glass door opened revealing a middle-aged man who had jet black hair that was slicked back comb-over. He wore a grey suit with a colorful tie just like everyone else that worked here.

"Welcome!" Alex's eyes lit up with enthusiasm as he saw Gabrielle standing patiently outside of his office doorway.

Immediately, Alex could tell by just viewing her once that something about her was different from everyone else that worked within the facilities.

It was quite odd.

"You must be Gabrielle Montell. Nice to meet you!" He grinned happily grabbing her small petite hand and shook it vigorously.

"Yes, that's me." She smiled awkwardly walking into the cozy office space.

At first glance, she saw upholstered office chairs and a typical office desk and desk chair but the one thing that caught her off guard was the great big curtain window that displaced the mesmerizing view of New York City.

"Have a seat." Alex commanded whilst he took a seat in his office chair that was behind his desk.

Anxiously, Gabrielle took the a seat graciously nearest to the window.

"So, let's get to the point why should we hire you?"

Gabrielle clear her throat and spoke.

" Well, I am quick on my feet and determined to achieve anything with the opportunities that I am given."

"Nice!" His eyes wandered down at the printed resume in front of him. He seemed unamused by the answer.

"Okay, So it says that before this job you were a nanny for Maya Renee?!" His brown eyes grew wider in excitement as he spoke.

"Yes. She was amazing." She smiled.

"Such a great job! And hard to find! Then why'd you leave!?"His voiced beamed with curiosity.

"I just felt like I need a fresh new start. The job wasn't just not the right fit for me anymore. I knew I wanted to expand my horizon." Gabrielle explained.

He took a glimpse again at the paperwork.

"All your credentials are great. I just have a few more q-"

His voice abruptly stopped to the ringing of the office phone on his desk. Both of their eyes trailed to the phone sitting on his desk.

He picks it up and places it to his ear.

"Where is my assistant Alex!?" The irritated male voice spoke through the receiver.

"It's a process that takes time. I need you to trust me sir. " Alex reassured him.

"Time is money and money is time and the clock is ticking Alex!'

"I-I'm getting there I just need a little more time an-"

"-This is your last warning Alex! I need an assistant by the end of the day or you are fired!"

The phone call ended abruptly after that. There was an awkward silence between the two of them that lasting a few seconds.

"I'm sorry about that." Alex finally responded.

"No, it's fine!" Gabrielle proceeded hoping that her words would be enough to change the awkward feeling in the room.

"So, can you start today?" His voice immediately went into desperate mode as he handed Gabrielle the manila colored folder.

"Of course. I would love too." She smiled with ease knowing that her mission was complete.
