Third Person Pov:

Gabrielle's eyes fluttered open to the sound of her blaring alarm as the morning sun peeked through her curtains.

Tiredly, she took a few steps to her small studio bathroom and started to get ready for the day.

Her morning routine started off simple. She washed her face, brushed her teeth, and took a shower.

She fixed herself to look presentable by doing a simple makeup look, straightening her hair, and adding soft curls.

Her outfit was something that she thought of the night before hunting through her closet m. She wants to make the best impression on her first day.

A plum purple loose-fitting jumpsuit and a pair of black strappy heels.

To add more character to her look she added a gold and silver watch to her wrist with an array of rings on her fingers to accentuate her short nubs.

Finally, she places her favorite shade of rose pink lip tint upon her lips and ascended out the front of her studio apartment determined to get to work on time.

"Good Morning." Gabrielle cheerfully greeted the secretary as she arrived in the lobby just in time for her work shift.

"Morning, " She croaked fixated on her computer screen.

Gabrielle immediately went to the elevators. Her mind was set on doing her best on her first day.

She clicked the elevator open and immediately took a step forward without looking and to her surprise, hot brown liquid splattered all over her chest.

"I'm so sorry!" His voice echoed through the lobby. He looks down to see a hot coffee stain right in the middle of her chest.

She stood there in disbelief.  It hadn't even been five minutes of being here and she already had her day ruined.

"This can't be happening to me!" She yelled out loud in panic. Her eyes grew wider as she looked at the brown coffee stain that was spreading.

"Give me your coat! Now!" Gabrielle panicked already tugging it off his shoulders. She didn't care if he said no. She wasn't taking no for an answer.

His brown eyes immediately went to his black suit coat. He did as he was told and unbuttoned the coat and handed it directly to her.

Gabrielle pulled the coat onto her sticky shoulders and walked in opposite direction hoping she could fund a bathroom to clean herself up quickly and still try to make it on time for his first day.

She turn the corner and stopped at a group of women leaving the bathroom.

As soon as they saw Gabrielle their attention immediately shifted to her and the hallway grew silent.

No one said anything until they pass her and whisper started to fill the air.

Gabrielle's cheeks burned with embarrassment as quickly made it to the bathroom door. She pushed it open revealing an empty bathroom.

Thank God it was empty...

She could finally loath herself pity silently and in a place where no one could see her having a mental breakdown.

She chooses the biggest stall at the end of the bathroom and locks herself in. Her eyes motioned to the toilet seat where she took her throne of shame.

It was her first day and she already made a fool out of herself for her first impression.

She had planned for this day to be perfect. However, in Gabrielle's book, nothing ever goes as planned.

A few minutes later she realized that she could wallow in her self-pity or tried to make to best of what she had.

And she needed this job desperately.

She had worked just as hard as everybody else just to get here and she wasn't just going to let something so small as a coffee stain control her outcome on her first day here.

Gabrielle had a dream of working here her whole life and she finally got the opportunity of a lifetime.

Becoming an assistant to one of the top CEOs at one of the biggest corporations in the world was only something she heard of in the movies and she was finally living it out in reality.

She got up from her throne and unlocked the stall and ascended to the Illuminated mirror.

Her eyes saw her younger self in the mirror smiling back at her in awe and amazement.

She knew that her younger self would've though she was a badass because she was able to accomplish something she had always wanted to do.

She immediately exited the bathroom. Her eyes were on the prize and that was to make a good impression on her first day.
