If the world was ending... | Na Jaemin

Hwayoung woke up feeling lightheaded. She sat up and looked around. Her surrounding were intriguing. White walls with every colour splashed on it. Like a blank canvas that had a stroke of every colour painted on it. 

She stood up and brush the dust off her bum. A man walked towards her. He had a long beard and a kind expression on his face. 

"Do you want to meet him?" The man asked. 

Hwayoung didn't need to think for long to know who he was talking about. 

"Yes." she said.

"I'm the guard of The Golden Gate," He said.

"To see Jaemin, you'll have to answer my riddle. If you answer it correctly, you get to go through this gate and meet him beyond the gate. Are you willing to accept this challenge?"

Hwayoung nodded furiously.

"Alright then, here's the riddle: 'What creature has four legs in the morning, two legs during the evening, and three legs at night?' " The man asked.

Hwayoung furrowed her eyebrows in confusion.

"Take your time, I won't repeat the question." The man stated.

"I know the answer" Hwayoung says after thinking for a moment.

"The answer is human beings, human beings crawl on all fours as a baby, walks on its two legs as a teen, and uses a walking stick when they grow old." Hwayoung explains.

"Very well, you shall go through The Golden Gates and meet your lover." The man says, smiling.

Hwayoung exhaled a breath that she didn't know she was holding and slowly walked towards the enormous gate. The door opened as she approached it. 

After she went through the gate, a man with his back facing the gate was standing there. 

He turned around and saw her. "Hey,"

"Hi." She responded.

They went in for a hug. Their bodies molding into one like two puzzle pieces. 

"Y'know, I didn't feel it when the earthquake happened at all" Jaemin chuckled.

"Me too." Hwayoung smiled softly. 

And they spent their lives happily in paradise.
