"A demon!"

"Someone call help!"

Treana and I ran to the front of the crowd, up to the demon.

"What's a demon doing here?" Treana asked me.

I shook my head.

"Hey! What are you doing here?" Treana demanded.

The wolf demon growled at Treana. "Your little celebration is on ancient demon grounds. This is my land. I've come to cleanse it of your presence."

Treana groaned. "Hey Launa! You threw the party on ancient demon ground?"

Launa looked at Treana helplessly and shrugged.

Treana turned to me and shook her head. "You can never find a friend who can throw perfect parties for twelve year olds these days I swear."

Before she could continue, the demon lifted one of its clawed paws and swiped at my sister and I. We both jumped out of its way.

"D! Make sure everyone else gets out okay and call for help! I'll hold it off until they get here!" Treana explained.

I simply nodded as she turned and watched as all the other kids ran out of the forest.

Treana turned back to the demon. The demon growled and she growled back.

The demon charged at Treana and she jumped out of the way once again. When she was far enough away, Treana held out her hand. She concentrated and a straight, glowing white line appeared in front her hand. Treana took hold of it and it formed into a silver sword.

Treana held it in both hands and charged at the demon. The demon swiped its claws at her but she dodged them and jumped onto it's outstretched arm. She impaled her sword into the arm.

The demon howled in pain and threw her off with her sword still in its arm. The demon pulled it out and Treana summoned another sword. The swiped at her again and Treana jumped out its way again. However, this time the demon brought up its other claw and hit Treana hard. She went flying into a tree.

She groaned as she lifted herself up. Treana saw the demon coming again and she rolled away just in time.

"T!" I shouted as I came running back.

"Dreana stay away!" Treana shouted. "I'm gonna try an suit of armour!"

"What? No way Treana!" I exclaimed. "You haven't mastered that technique yet!"

Treana waved me off as she put her hands together and began to concentrate. Treana's body was then suddenly encased in a bright white light. The shape of her body then morphed and Treana was then suddenly wearing a suit of armour.

She had a winged helmet. She wore a white dress with silver and gold arm and leg armour. She held a double edged sword in one hand and a glowing shield in the other.

"Hey! I did it! Er, I mean, yeah, uh, you're going down now!" Treana stammered.

I watched as Treana charged and the blades of the two combatants clashed.

I watched in awe of my sister. She successfully summoned a Sacred Armour. What Treana had just done was a rare form of Summoning/Clothing Magic called the Armoury Technique.

According to the legends many millions of years ago, the First Ones(the first living beings in the universe) created dozens if not over a hundred incredibly powerful suits of armour-the Sacred Armours-infused with a magic that would gift the wearer of the armour with increased battle abilities. When they were deemed too powerful and o for the masses they were sealed away in a pocket dimension underlying our own. However they can still be accessed, but only by incredibly powerful and talented Summoners who could withstand the stress that crossing into another dimension and keeping that portal open to put on and use a suit of armour that could extend your natural magic potential farther than it probably should.

In other words, the fact that Treana can do this is incredible. Unfortunately, she hadn't yet mastered the Armoury Technique. She could wear the armour but back then, more often than not she couldn't handle the armour's magic.

The armour she had summoned was called the Holy Guardian Armour. It gave the wearer extra defence power.

The demon slashed at Treana. She raised her shield and deflected the claws of the demon. However, the force of the impact sent her flying backwards. She was able to land on her feet and charged at the monster again.

I watched as the two fought some more, before Treana's shield began to flow even brighter. I could feel the vibrations of the unstable magic from all the way back where I was standing.

"Treana! Get rid of the armour!" I shouted.

Treana didn't reply. She was still trying to hold off the demon when the shield seemed to explode in a bright light. I shielded my eyes from the blinding light. When I looked back, the armour had disappeared from Treana's body, leaving her with the clothes she had originally worn. She was unconscious on the ground.

"T!" I exclaimed.

I tried to run over to her but was cut off by the demon crossing my path. It growled at me.

"Why are you doing this? All the students are gone from the land! You can leave in peace!" I shouted.

"The Universals know nothing of peace! You flaunt around this universe and see all those unlike them as lower beings!" The demon ranted. "You would know about such treatment now wouldn't you, demon soul."

I glared at the demon. "The Authorities are on their way. If you don't leave now then you will not know mercy."

The demon came close to my face. "I will gladly accept that challenge. Now, our of my way!"

The demon swung its arm at me and I went flying through the trees. I ended up near the edge of the forest and I could see the other students who were still standing there.

I ran out when I heard the demon ravaging its way through the trees. It burst out from the forest and roared at everyone there. Everyone screamed and began running. I threw myself in front of the panicked crowd.

"No! I won't let you near them!" I yelled.

The demon growled again. "Away from here child! Why do you guard them? I am sure they see you as a demon like me!"

I clenched my fists. "Shut up. I'm nothing like you!"

The demon laughed at me. It laughed at me. I didn't like it. Looking back on it, I still hate the demon for that. All I remembered from that moment was getting angry. Then I was engulfed in fierce purple flames and my long hair began to turn white.

Both the demon and the people I was standing in front of stepped back.

I growled and ran straight at the demon. I somehow knocked it back. I jumped right onto it and began tearing it apart mercilessly. I used my hands, and my mouth. I had gone berserk.

When all but the head of the demon was left I calmed down. The flames died down and my hair returned to its normal colour. I looked down at my hands. They were covered with the dark blood of a demon. I felt the wetness around my mouth as well. I turned around. The people stared at me with the same fear they had when facing the demon. Or any demon.

I shook my head at them. I covered my mouth with my scarf and ran away.
