Ayano had been waiting at the guidance counselor's office for at least 10 minutes now. Seems like her student ambassadors were late. The guidance counselor didn't even say anything to Ayano as "your student ambassadors will tell you everything". At last, two girls walked in. One of them had magenta hair and the other with light pink hair.

"Hi Aishi-chan," the pink haired girl said. "My name is Inkyu Basu, and this is my sister Sakyu. I've heard a lot about you from our guidance counselor. You're a second year student, right? We're both second years as well. Do you know what class you're in?"

"No," Ayano replied. "Oh, and just call me Ayano."

"Right," Inkyu said. "The teachers at this school know everything about new students. Come follow us, Rikitake-sensei will tell you where your classroom is and show you your locker."

And with that, Ayano-chan followed the Basu sisters to their classroom. A woman with glasses and spiky hair was standing at the desk, preparing for her lesson. Ayano assumed this must be the Rikitake-sensei Inkyu-chan was talking about.

"Ah yes, Aishi-san," the woman said sharply. "Your classroom is 2-1, and your locker is the one closest to the door of the right side of the right segment."

"Come follow us, Ayano-chan," Sakyu said. "We'll show you where your locker is so you can change into your indoor shoes."

Ayano-chan followed the girls as they showed her what locker she has. Ayano felt nervous and cautious around the Basu sisters as they seemed snobby.

"Oh, and since we don't want you to find trouble here, we'll give you a tour of the school," Sakyu promised. "We're just in class 2-2, the other 2nd year class."

The Basu sisters gave Ayano a tour of the school.

"Those girls standing over there, they're a group of friends who are quite well known in the school for their rainbow-like hair colours. There are a group of boys who are basically the girl version of them. Some of the students call the boys and girls combined the rainbow 12. That girl with magenta hair, she's Kokona Haruka. She's very clumsy, so she spends most of her free time with Saki Miyu, the blue haired girl, in the nurse's office. She gets sick like all the time," Inkyu groaned.

They walked through the halls. Sakyu and Inkyu pointed to all the different school clubs, gossiping about the members and leaders. Something was making Ayano incredibly uncomfortable.

"Sakyu, Inkyu," Ayano said, finally telling them about it. "This girl's been following us."

Sakyu turned around nervously. Then she grunted. "Oh, her," she said. "That's Oka Ruto, president of the occult club. She's been stalking us a lot for the past couple of weeks. She has like, no friends!"

"Why is she doing that though?" Ayano wondered.

"She thinks we're like, vampires!" Inkyu replied.

Ayano was very weirded out after hearing that. Her, Inkyu and Sakyu walked around the school, discussing clubs, classrooms and all the mysterious students inside them. Inkyu also talked about Info-chan and how she thinks it's all just a myth. Ayano never wanted to make her new friends feel scared so she didn't tell them anything about her meeting with Info-chan this morning. They walked on the school rooftop where lots of students were. Ayano noticed Taro Yamada from earlier, who was hanging out with a couple of other boys.

"Um, who's that over there?" Ayano asked.

"Huh? Ohh, him," Sakyu rolled her eyes. "Taro Yamada, of course. He's so cute, but doesn't seem to have a life at like, all. That guy talking to him, that's Kyuji Konagawa. It's been rumoured that even he likes Yamada-senpai."

"Y-yamada-senpai?" Ayano was confused.

"Yeah," Sakyu responded in a way that made Ayano think she should have known. "He's a 3rd-year student."

"Oh, I-I'm sorry," Ayano apologised for not knowing. "He doesn't...look older though."

"That's how it works at this school," Sakyu sighed. "Everyone's the same here. They only care about gossip, they only care about popularity, they only care about that dumb bitch Megami Saikou and her stupid family. I don't give a shit about the Saikous. Like, something tells me all the stupid drama with them and rival companies is made up for attention."

Ayano had heard of the Saikous before, and knew her mother despised them. Something about her mother felt like she had known them personally and gotten in a bad relationship with them, but she didn't think much of it. After all, families like the Saikous were bound to be controversial topics within all households.

Ayano and the Basu sisters talked loads. They had gotten so into talking with each other that they were shocked when the bell rang for class. They walked downstairs together to the 2nd year floor and the Basu sisters said bye to Ayano before she walked into her class.

"And just what the fuck are you doing in my seat?" said a rather irritated voice behind Ayano. She turned around and saw Osana Najimi, the girl from earlier. A girl who looked similar to Osana stood next to them, watching sympathetically. Ayano realised this must be the Raibaru girl from earlier.

"I-I'm new," Ayano told them. "The teacher said I could sit here."

"Najimi-san and Furetsu-san, you will just have to sit in the seats next to Aishi-san," said Fukahori-sensei, Ayano's teacher. "Once again, Aishi-san, welcome to our school. I hope you have a lovely time at Akademi."

Osana and Raibaru did as they told, as they didn't want to piss off their teacher any more than they already did. Ayano could feel Osana giving her dirty looks while Fukahori-sensei was droning on about a topic that didn't really matter to either of them. She could hear Raibaru gently whispering to Osana to mind her own business.
