remember that night?
the night you cried for six hours straight?
the night that mum and dad screamed for hours on end?
they left you to cry.
causing your pain.
you screamed,
"dont leave me
I'm family."

in a house that hates you;
tear-stained cheeks were an accessory
while a slap across the face was needed to go to school.
laughing till you can't cry
you've been losing yourself
all because of that night.
