(Ch.2) Attack on the ark

(My POV)
Right now I was sleeping while snuggled up with the plush toys that shadow gave me. Just then a blaring alarm scared me awake! When I looked around I noticed all the red blinking light blaring all around the ship. This usually meant something was wrong.

I quickly grabbed my one shoulder bag and slept my favorite sweatshirt, my eye mask, my scarf that Maria gave me and my two plush dolls that Shadow gave me into it before slipping it over my shoulder. Then rushed over to my bedroom door and noticed that Shadow and Maria had rushed over to their bedroom doors to.

Shadow's bedroom is right across from mine. While Maria's is right next-door to his. At this point I was scared and confused. What could possibly be going on?

(Me) W-What's going on?!

(Shadow) I DON'T KNOW!

Shadow said yelling because of how loud the alarm was. Just then we heard Gerald running up to us and he told us that we needed to get to the skate pod room as fast as we could. Maria ask him what was going on and Gerald told us that the ark was under attack! Without thinking shadow grabbed my hand and Maria's after that he immediately started running down the hallway. Maria and I looked behind us only to find soldiers chasing after us and Gerald trying his best to catch up to us. I became even more scared as my eyes almost flooded with tears.

We were able to successfully reach the room with the escape pods and Shadow used Gerald's key card to shut and lock the door. Maria started typing into a computer and three pods opened up. Since the pods could only hold one person per pod we each had to have our own. In the rush of panic Maria pushed shadow and I over to the pods. Unfortunately while shadow ended up in one of the pods I ended up in some sort of machine. Unfortunately however before I could leave the machine the door shut on its own!

My attention kept switching between Maria, Shadow and the screen right above me. The machine had several windows and a see-through door. This made it easier for me to be able to see my two best friends. Just as I had looked back at Maria I saw the man holding a gun shoot several bullets into her as she had pulled the lever. The site was so devastatingly heartbreaking that I could no longer hold in the tears as I finally let them flow from my eyes like waterfalls.

(Shadow and Me) MARIA!!!!!!!!!!!

I then heard a dinging sound and looked above me to see that the machine finally settled on a planet and date! I couldn't make out the date but I was able to make out the name of the planet. ...MÖBIUS... I was shocked and just before the machine sent me away I looked over at shadow who at the same time locked eyes with me. The last thing I heard before getting sent away... was Shadow screaming out my name to me.
