A/n: Hello everybody! Today is December 14th, 2020. Timothee Chalamet was on SNL on Saturday and BY GOD THAT WAS THE BEST THING I HAVE EVER SEEN. Sorry for the irregular updates; you know how final's week can be.

2 Weeks Later

Y/n wakes up, blinking the soft sunlight from her eyes. She sits up in her bed, pulling the covers up around her waist. The sun peeks up from behind the hills the apartment overlooks out in the distance. She climbs down her ladder and cooks herself breakfast.

After eating that, she showers and gets ready for whatever the day might bring. As she dries her hair, the telephone begins ringing. She apprehensively picks it up. "Hello?"

"Hi...Is this Y/n?" Robin's voice rings out from the other line.

Y/n beams. "Hey, Robin! Yeah, it's me." She practically hears Robin smiling.

"Hey, Y/n. I was wondering if you wanted to meet my friends today? We're all getting together and I think that you should join us."

Y/n blushes and covers the mouth piece on the phone, squealing. Of course, the sound slips through and Robin laughs when she hears Y/n's little squeals and stomps. "I would love that, yes."

"Great," Robin says breathily. "I'll see you at 12:00 at the amusement park, okay?"

"12:00 it is."

Y/n leans against the railing at the amusement, waiting for Robin and her friends to show up. In the ten minutes she's been there, she's had to turn down 3 guys asking for her number and a date.

A large car pulls up, with a group of kids inside it. When Y/n spots Robin, she breaks out into a grin. "Robin!" She calls out.

She whirls around and beams at Y/n as the other kids get out. A small girl with matted brown hair climbs out of the car hand-in-hand with a tall boy with black hair and the world seems to cave in. A deafening high-pitched ringing fills Y/n's ears and she winces, her knees going weak. The girl seems to feel it to, and winces, clutching the boy.

It goes away almost as quickly as it came. The group comes up to Y/n. who smiles at them warmly as if nothing had just happened. "Hi everyone! My name is Y/n; I'm the new girl in town."

Everyone introduces themself and Y/n quickly places their names in her mental file of people that she knows. It's pretty small. There's Nancy, Jonathan, Max, Mike, Will, Dustin, Erica, Lucas, and Eleven. Her. Eleven.

Steve waves at Y/n. "Good to see another familiar face," Y/n laughs as they make their way through the ticket booths.

"I take it you and Robin are getting on well? You're all she talks about, now," he says with a smirk.

Y/n blushes. "Our friendship has been going quite well, yes."

Steve rolls his eyes and playfully shoves her. "Yeah, yeah."

The kids laugh and run ahead, snagging spots in line for a roller coaster. Y/n spins around and grabs Robin's hand, giggling happily. Robin can't help but give her a stupid grin, following her around like a faithful puppy.

They get in line and Y/n pulls a wrapped sweet out of her pocket. "You're scared of heights aren't you?" She asks.

Robin's eyes widen. "How did you know?"

Y/n shrugs  and places her hand over Robin's on the railing gently. "You're trembling." She unwraps the sweet and holds it out. "Suck on this. It'll soothe your nerves."

Robin glances at it. "What's in it, drugs?"

Y/n laughs. "No, silly, it's sugar."

Robin opens her mouth and her tongue lolls out playfully. Y/n places it on her tongue, laughing. "This is good," she mumbles.

Y/n nods, popping one into her mouth as well. They board the ride and Y/n drags her to the very back. "It's most fun in the back. Fastest."

Robin's eyes widen and she struggles to break away from Y/n's vice grip. Y/n places both hands on her shoulders and pushes her down into the seat, reaching down around her and pulling the restraints around her. She locks it in and pushes the bar down. Robin's eyes flicker down to her billowy shirt that gapes away from her, revealing her bra.

Y/n sits down beside Robin and straps herself in. "You good?" She asks.

Robin nods, breathing heavily. Y/n snakes her hand into Robin's sqeezing it reassuringly. She looks at her with wide eyes. The ride jolts forward and Robin's grip tightens as they begin climbing the hill.

"You're okay, Robin!" Y/n assures before lifting her hands high above her head and screaming with joy as they fly down the hill and back up into the first loop. Robin becomes more relaxed, and her screams of fear turn into energetic whoops as they make sharp corkscrew twists.

Y/n picks up Mike and Steve's whoops on the wind and she beams, feeling as if she has a place.

The coaster slows to a stop and they carefully unstrap themselves, climbing off the coaster with shaky legs, as if they were newborn deer.

"Want a milkshake?" Y/n asks, taking Robin's hand again. Robin nods and they walk off to the nearby mini cafe. "We'll catch up," Y/n calls out to Steve, who nods and winks at them. Y/n sticks her tongue out at him.

Y/n orders a large peach milkshake and grabs two straws, placing it down on the table in front of them. She places the straws in and flourishes it with silly hand movements. "Voila."

Robin rolls her eyes and laughs, sipping the milkshake tenderly. Y/n wraps her lips around the straw and begins drinking as well, the two staring at each other with eager, wide eyes.
