*Flashback*
Alissa's p.o.v
Me and dad hid up on the roof of the building as we saw the man come out of the building. We dropped down off the roof and behind one of the cars that was there. We watched as he shot some of the security guards with a medium sized machine gun that he was carrying. I looked beside me at where my dad was only to see that he wasn't there. I heard the voice of the man who stopped shooting the guards. "Ah, nightwing, here to stop me? I wanna see you try, because I brought backup" he said as a girl that looked my age Jumped down off the roof and onto the car beside him, making a loud thud. "So did I," my dad said before I flue out from behind the car and landed next to my dad. We gave each other a quick glance before they charged at us. I started fighting the young girl as my dad started fighting the man. The young girl tried to punch, but I ducked and she missed. She then tried to kick me but before she got the chance I grabbed her foot and flipped her onto the ground. She got up and I tried to blast her, but she moved out of the way causing me to miss.
She then got behind me and put her arms around my throat. I grasped for air, hitting her arms. I stomped on her foot then elbowed her in the stomach, knocking the wind out of her. She was hunched over trying to catch her breath. I kicked her shin and she fell to her knees before I punched her in the face and she fell unconscious. I looked over at my dad to see the man on top of him, holding one of his lightning rod's to his throat. I grabbed one of the knives that was on the unconscious girl on the ground in front of me and rushed over to them without the man hearing me. As he was about to strike my dad with the lightning I came up behind him and stabbed him in the chest. He then fell to the side of my dad as my dad looked up at me. "Is he?..." I asked with shock in fear in my eyes. "Yeah," he said getting up and hugging me as I stood there terrified at what I had just done. "It's okay, its okay," he said as he stroked my hair. *end of flashback*
