"so... where are we going now?" josh asked, looking from the window to tyler. tyler smiled.

"we're going to a close friends house." tyler said. "ashley frangipane."

ashley stretched, sitting up in her bed. she walked into her bathroom and brushed her teeth, getting ready for the day. she knew tyler was on his way so she tidied her house a bit before she had company over.

she walked down to the kitchen, making her some breakfast and decided to make tyler and josh some food for when they get there. she just had a feeling they didn't eat at all since they've been on the run.

tyler walked up to the door with his things, knocking on the door. josh stood next to him, starting to get used to being around tyler. tyler wasn't as bad as josh thought he was.

soon the door opened and there stood ashley. she smiled. "come in!" she said. tyler gasped.

"your hair?!" ashley laughed at tylers comment. "it's gone!" tyler said.

ashley laughed, "and what about it?" she said. tyler chuckled.

"nothing, you look amazing." tyler smiled. ashley thanked him and invited the two inside.

"oh! i made you guys some food. i assume you probably didn't get a chance to eat." ashley said, leading them into the kitchen where there was food set out for them on the counter.

"thank you, h." tyler said, grabbing a plate of food, sitting down. "so, how's it been?" he asked, watching josh grab food for himself. then tyler looked over at ashley.

"it's been great." she said, sitting down across from tyler. "i've been working on music." she smiled.

"oh yeah?" tyler said before shoving some food into his mouth. ashley nodded.

"mhm! ever since i've escaped from my family, i've started working on things i'm passionate about. like art and music." she shrugged, drinking some water out of the glass she had.

"that's great! i'm proud of you." tyler said, "oh, also this is josh." tyler smiled. "i was supposed to kill him but instead we kind of ran away." he shrugged.

ashley nodded, "sounds like a love story to me." she said.

tyler laughed and shook his head. "nothing like that. just wanted to be sure he would be safe."

ashley nodded slowly, "mhm sure." she said sarcastically. "anyway, how's jenna?"

tyler raised an eyebrow "she's fine. i hope." he said. "why, do you love herrr?"

ashley rolled her eyes playfully, "no. don't get the wrong idea."

"oh please!" tyler laughed "i know you!" he said. "you definitely like jenna."

ashley chuckled, "maybe a little but that doesn't matter! i want to get to know josh." she said, turning to josh. "hi josh, i'm ashley."

josh smiled softly, "i'm josh.. duh.." he laughed awkwardly.

"so, josh, how are you this fine evening?" ashley asked.

"i'm doing good." josh said.

tyler watched as the two of them chat for what seemed like eternity. finally he got up, put the dish in the sink, "so, where will we be sleeping for the time being?" tyler asked, in need of some serious sleep.

"um well... that's the thing..." ashley said. "i only have one guest bedroom. so somebody's going to have to sleep on the couch."

tyler nodded, "alright. i'll sleep on the couch. josh can take the bed."

"woah no no no." josh said. "you have barely gotten any sleep since we've ran away. please take the bed, it'll be more comfortable."

tyler shook his head, "i'll be fine josh. just take the bed."

ashley rolled her eyes, "just share the damn bed goddamn! i can't take it anymore." she said, getting up. "i'm not going to watch you two fight over this all damn day. just go and sleep in the same bed. friends sleep with friends. and don't you fucking tell me you aren't friends because you're going to have to be." she said before walking off someplace else.

tyler sighed. "she's right. let's just share the damn bed and get some rest, okay?"

josh nodded.

h: tyler and josh are with me

j: oh thank god! are they okay??

h: yes they're fine. just exhausted. if you want to come over, you may.

j: okay! i'll be there as soon as possible!

jenna sent the text and put her phone away in her pocket. she was relieved that both the boys were safely ashley's house. she had been so worried since tylers last text. she didn't know whether chris had gotten to them somehow or not.

luckily for them, chris was back home, planning a way to find tyler and josh.

however, jenna wasn't so lucky. she was sat in the park, watching children play when she got a phone call. she grabbed out her phone and read the name, chris. she felt her heart drop as she slowly answered the call and put her phone up to her ear.

chris spoke loud and clear, "jenna, where the hell is tyler?!"

"i don't have a clue what you're talking about. i told you everything i know."

"i don't believe you. you and tyler are close, you have to have some contact with him."

"well, i don't. i'm sorry. he probably cut off all communications with me so he made sure i didn't snitch on him to you."

"see that's the thing. i know you wouldn't snitch on him either way because of the closeness you two have. so you're going to tell me. or i will simply make you tell me."

"you'll have to catch me first, motherfucker."

jenna then hung up. "fuck." she mutters and began running as fast as she can to her car. suddenly her leg was grabbed "let me go!" she screamed, her other leg getting grabbed.

she fell onto the ground, taking out a knife and stabbed the guys hands. she quickly got back onto her feet and entered her car, locking the doors.

the man got out from under the car and jenna immediately drove off. "shit," she muttered.

tyler walked into the guest room. josh walking in after he did.

"left or right side?" tyler asked. josh looked at him.

"i don't care." josh said. tyler nodded and sat on the left side, kicking his shoes off. josh did the same and laid in bed.

tyler chuckled, doing the same. josh got under the covers and looks over at tyler. "this too awkward for you?" josh asked.

tyler laughed "no way." he said, taking off his shirt and jeans before getting under the covers. "goodnight, josh." he yawned.

josh nodded softly, "goodnight..." he said quietly.
