He wanted to take her by the waist and make her sit on his legs. She wanted to tear his shirt off and kiss his torso, but this time, she withdrew and exited the car in one swift movement, her disheveled hair and red face making her quite a vision. He rolled the window down and stared up at her with pleading eyes. She hesitated before speaking quickly and nervously.
- I can't continue working for you. I'll have Ly take care of this.
He refused with a gesture.
- It's almost over. I will behave, Rhi. Just finish this and I'll leave you alone.
She thought about it for a second and finally nodded.
- Right, leaving the case like this would raise suspicion. But we'll keep our distance.
- I promise.
- Paul... - She finally called with a beseeching gaze.
- Yes?
- Please don't mention this indiscretion to anyone, ever. It could ruin me...
He shook his head.
- Of course I won't. The last thing I want to do is tell people I'm in love with my lawyer... - He said in a horrified tone.
His words resonated in her head. "In love". Was she in love with him too? Or just attracted? Or just star-struck? Everything was so blurry at that moment. A gust of cold wind blew through the car lobby and she shuddered. Autumn was coming.
- Right. Bye. - She whispered and walked away quickly.
He saw her sadly til she disappeared into the glass door and then shook his head.
- I am such an arsehole. - He sighed and turned on the engine.
-
- This is wrong... - Rhi moaned as he pulled off her underpants.
- Huh? - He let out, kneeling in front of her. She could see his blue eyes glare with desire.
- Paul, l think... - She stopped abruptly when she felt his warm lips pressed against the very center of her being.
She tried to be worried about her perfectly white dress getting stained with any kind of bodily fluid, but she couldn't. He was just TOO good. She was panting for air when he stood up and unzipped his tuxedo trousers. She had stopped trying to resist. It was useless. She wanted him inside her. She needed him inside her.
She felt him go all the way in, thrusting pitilessly, and she thought this was too much to take in. It had been so long since she had been wanting this to happen. She tried to look at his face, his beautiful eyes, she wanted to see if he was enjoying as much as her. All she could see from underneath him was that perfect birhmark pattern he had on the left side of his neck all the way down to his strong collarbone. He finally turned to look at her, sinking his heavenly eyes in hers.
- Rhiannon... - He groaned.
She couldn't take it anymore. She came undone, feeling everything in her life click into sense.
- Oh Paul... - She sighed.
- Rhi!
She bit her lips in order not to scream.
- Rhi who the hell is Paul? - Lee asked with an annoyed voice.
She suddenly woke up, the orgasm receding in her belly. She realised what had just happened and thought quickly. She pretended to still be asleep, turned around and said in a sleepy voice.
- The dog, Lee, the dog you bought even when I explicitly told you not to.
Her heart was pounding so loudly, she was scared her fiancé would hear it. Of all of the nights she could have had a dream where she had mind-blowing sex with Paul Banks while wearing her wedding dress, it had to happen the one day Lee was with her. Luckily, the orgasm had been so wild, she actually fell asleep some minutes after.
When she woke up for the second time, she saw Lee sitting on the edge of the bed, looking intently at her.
- Hey. – She whispered.
- Hey... - He answered, smiling swiftly, but became serious after a second. – What were you dreaming about? You were shifting so much, you didn't let me sleep.
- Sorry... I don't know... I don't remember...
- You kept calling some Paul...
Rhi remembered everything then and panic hit her.
- Paul? I... I don't remember... oh, wait. I think I do... something about a dirty rug. The dog was called that I think, I don't know, I'm sorry I woke you up...
- It's OK... I mean, I just...
- Yes?
- It sounded like... never mind...
Rhi felt mortified, she sat up and hugged him.
- You'll never buy a dog unless we have a house with a garden right? – She murmured and he finally relaxed. He turned to see her and smiled.
- Maybe, maybe not.
- Come on... my rug got totally ruined...
He smirked and kissed her.
- OK, no dogs on your rugs.
- Thanks.
Rhi sighed and thought she had dodged a bullet there. She had no right to be angry at Lee for some random text from a young girl if she was having wet dreams about one of her clients. When did things come to this?
Her sister's words hadn't abandoned her thoughts for a second.
- Just fuck him once to get that out of the way. - Val had said before kissing her goodbye. - And stop pretending it's not on your mind.
She felt guilty for even harbouring the idea of having sex with her client, but there was no denying she had been doing it for quite a while. She hadn't seen or talked to him since that day in his car, as they were waiting for the notification for the next hearing to reach him.
She was afraid they would have to postpone it if he had to be in Europe by the time that happened. It had been two weeks in which a day had not gone by without Rhi fantasising about walking into his penthouse and doing all kinds of ungodly things to him.
And that made her feel like the vilest woman on Earth.
