The Democratic People's Republic of Korea have always prided themselves with their military capabilities. As they continually embarked on strengthening their hard power in the international arena, the country also featured one of the largest militaries in the world. To describe the training the soldiers have gone through as "rigorous" would be a complete understatement- these men are trained to withstand worst conditions, may it be physically, emotionally, and mentally. Consequently, the toughest among the toughest are chosen to lead their respective commanding units.

It was no longer a surprise when Ri Jeong Hyeok rose as the Captain of the 5th Company Battalion of the Special Forces in the North Korean military.

His years of training prepared him for enduring pain and physical torture. Captain Ri did not even flinch when he was stabbed years ago nor when he was hit with a bullet on his shoulder. Nothing, as in nothing, made Ri Jeong Hyeok writhe in pain.... As he is doing right now.

Yoon Seo-Jun was an exception.

He clapped his tiny little hands when he successfully kicked the football, hitting exactly the only thing Ri Jeong Hyeok didn't want the ball to hit.

Ri Jeong Hyeok was distracted when he was hit, talking to Seri who's sitting pretty on the benches as she watched the two boys play under the scorching heat of the sun. The pain knocked the former captain, helplessly kneeling to the ground, hands clutching the thing between his legs. The little boy jumped in bliss, unable to comprehend what just happened.

"Imo! I did it!" says the boy, fists pumped in the air.

Seri had tried her best to be a good wife in this juncture, to help her husband up and walk him to the benches, yet halfway into running to him in the grassy park the heiress erupted into a fit of laughter.

"Oh God, I'm sorry, I'm sorry." Seri said as she wiped the happy tears in her eyes, choking when she stifled her giggles. "I'm coming, Yeobo!"

Little Seo Jun suddenly had an inkling of what's going on, when his Samchon-Jeong Hyeok wasn't able to retrieve the ball that rolled off beside a nearby tree. The boy went to his side and asked, "Omo! Are you okay, Samchon?"

"Don't worry about me, buddy. Samchon.. ugh.. is fine!" He replied, holding back a groan in his throat and forcing a smile to this little boy. Still, Seo Jun planted feathery little kisses on top of his Samchon's head repeatedly, in a very light manner, reminiscent of what his Appa Se-Joon and Eomma Hye-Ji does to him when he gets hurt.

Seri helped him get up and they walked towards the bench, with Jeong Hyeok limping a little.

"You know, Yeobo.." Her eyes drifted to the running 4 year-old in front of them, making sure the child won't hear her as she whispered to her husband, "I love Seo Jun with all my heart... I swear I do... but once he gets all riled up with sugar he becomes a talkative running machine."

"A what?" Jeong Hyeok stops for a moment to laugh at her wife.

Seri joins in his laughter, "Nothing, nothing."

"Imo, ice cream?" Seo Jun adorably pleaded, pointing to the ice cream truck that was parked several meters away from them. "Okay." Seri smiled sweetly at the little boy, before helping Jeong Hyeok to his seat. "I got this, Yeobo. Go." Jeong Hyeok whispers.
