I woke up to sounds from the baby monitor. That wasn't good. I saw the sound spike and climbed out of bed, rushing across the hall. I opened the baby's door and peered inside. The baby was making small noises, but wasn't crying.

"Logan?" I said quietly, walking into the room.

He looked over at me, but turned back to staring at the ceiling. The baby was only four years old. I took him out of the crib and held him in my arms. His hair was already starting to grow into small blue curls. He had Bernard's eyes. He was perfect.

"Your goal is to make me an insomniac, isn't it?" I joked quietly, sitting down in the rocking chair. "You're also a big ball of energy, you know that?"

Logan closed his eyes slowly, deciding sleep over babbling. I smiled and placed him back in his crib. I kissed his head before covering him in his blankets. "Sleep well, Logan," I whispered before walking out of the room.

"Was Logan up again?" Bernard groaned when I came back into the room.

"Nothing to worry about,my love. Go back to sleep," I said soothingly.

"C'mere," he held out his arms lazily.

I rolled into his arms and he held me close to him. I smiled. We hadn't done this in a while thanks to our busy schedules. I was the Spirit of Winter on the council since Dad defrosted. He spent most of his time around the world now.

Bernard and I had Logan on December Twentieth. He's the cutest and the most wonderful boy in the world. My hair and the rest is Bernard. I love both of them equally.

"Go to sleep. You have a council meeting in the morning," Bernard reminded me.

"I love you, honey," I turned, kissing his nose softly.

The glitter on his cheeks sparked in the moonlight coming through the window. "I love you too," he kissed my cheek a few times before going back to sleep.

I fell asleep shortly after. How was my life so perfect?
