meeting the team

it was now lunch, so I and Kiyoko walked back to our lockers to grab our lunches. "hey your gonna be playing volleyball with the boys right?" "uh yeah I watched one of the girl's practices and I think I'm a little too harsh for them" "what do you mean by that?" Kiyoko asked as we walked to the volleyball gym to eat.

"I mean I had to be moved to the boys club at my old school because I was too "hard" to the other girls, which I don't really know what they meant by that but I was too scared to ask them."  "oh well, what position did you play?"  "I played outside wing spiker... I was the ace because no one could receive my spikes." I looked over at her as I shoved a piece of the milk bread into my mouth.

"oh that's awesome I think I'm gonna text the team and tell them to come to the gym to meet you right now, so we don't have to waist time at practice" I just sat there thinking about all the bad things that could happen, by the time I finally was out of my head the whole team was standing in front of me.

" guys this is y/n she is the 2nd year and she's gonna be practicing with us from now on."  "why is she practicing with us and not the girls club?"  a short boy with orange hair said looking confused." well she is new and she is to good for the girl's team, now don't go easy on her she was the ace of her old boy's team," Kiyoko said looking down on you.

"wow, you were the ace how you're so short?" a bald guy said almost shocked at what Kiyoko had just said about you."WHAT THE HELL DID YOU JUST CALL ME BALDY?!?" I said as I grabbed his collar and shoved him against the wall with my fist raised ready to wipe that look off his face.

"ahhhh no I didn't mean it like that, I just meant you must be really good if you're the ace of a boys team." "you better not have, and if any of you call me short or small or make fun of me I will not hesitate to send you to the hospital, you hear me." they all shook their heads yes as they slowly backed away from you.

As I was walking back to Kiyoko I saw a tall boy with blonde hair and glasses standing behind the others. that was the same guy I ran into at the store earlier today. he was standing behind everyone talking to a green-haired boy.

my thoughts were interrupted when a boy with silver hair approached me and shook my hand.   "Hi, I'm Sugawara but you can just call me Suga." "oh hi, I'm y/n it's nice to meet you too." I stood there as everyone introduced themselves, all except the boy with the glasses.

I walked up to him and asked his name, I was so nervous that he wouldn't like me. "uh I never got your name." "uh I'm Tsukishima I think you're the one that ran into me earlier today," he said in a low monotone voice. "uh yeah I am. sorry about that by the way I was just in a rush to get to school I didn't want to be late on my first day." 

just as I finished my sentence the bell rang and everyone started packing up their lunch. I was walking down the hallway with a map in my hands trying to find my next class." hey do you need help y/n?" "uh yeah, I do actually do you know where class 1-4 is?" I asked looking at him. "Yeah I can show you where it is, so Kiyoko said you were an ace on the boy's team. that must have been hard," he said as we walked down the hallway.

"no it wasn't that hard I just am naturally good at jumping and since I have gained a lot of muscle it comes a lot easier." "well that's really cool I want to be the ace of our team one day... Anyway, this is your room ill see you at practice y/n" "bye Hinata see you later," I said as I walked into the busy classroom.

the only open set was right next to giraffe man so I went and sat down next to him. "hey giraffe man what's up." I said as I set my bag down at my feet. "what did you just call me shrimp" "oh you're lucky your cute or else you would be in the infirmary with a black eye right now" I said laughing at him.
