Chapter 5

Emily's POV

I woke up with Alison still snuggled into me. I smiled at her sleeping. I didn't have classes today until noon so i could just relax for a bit.

"Morning." I heard a husky voice say. I looked over and saw Lauren smirking at me and Alison.

"Morning." I said smiling then looking at Ali.

"When are you guys going to date already??" She said sighed. I blushed.

"What do you mean?" I questioned

"Come on. I know you like her and I know she likes you. You would have to be stupid to not be able to tell by the way you guys look at each other." She said smiling

"No she doesn't like me like that." I said trying to get up without waking her up.

"Okay whatever you say. But don't lead her on. She's been through that and it really hurt her. If you love her, love her right. Don't hurt her or you're going to have to face me." She said pointing a thumb at her chest.

"What do you mean she's been through that before?" I asked curious. She sighed.

"Come over here I don't want to wake her up." She said motioning to Ali's bed. I sat down and she sat down next to me with a serious face.

"Okay a few years back in our third year of high school, Ali really liked this girl. Her name was Jordan. And when Ali falls, she falls hard but Jordan wasn't there to catch her. One day Jordan actually told her that she thinks she likes her as more than just a friend and Alison was more happy than she could ever be. They were getting pretty serious after about a week but then when they were supposed to meet up to hang out together for a while, when Ali got to her house, she walked in on Jordan and some guy making out on Jordan's couch. She told Ali that she was just a phase. That she didn't actually love her like that anymore. She was broken. And I was the one to put the pieces back together for her. It took a lot of time but it could be healed. She still can't really talk about it. It took her almost 9 months to stop moping around everywhere and to start caring about life again. So just be careful and don't do what Jordan did." She finished with tears In her eyes. I had tears too.

"I would never do anything that horrible." I said. "I like her. A lot but I just don't think she likes me like that. I mean we just met like a week ago."

"Trust me. She likes you. But just make sure you're there to catch her." And with that she got up and went into the bathroom.

Alison's POV

When I woke up I had a small headache but not too bad. I felt the bed empty next to me. I then heard Lauren and Emily talking. I pretended I was still asleep and listened to what they were saying.

"I like her. A lot but I just don't think she likes me like that. I mean we just met like a week ago." I heard Emily say. My heart dropped. I didn't know she knew anyone else here.

"Trust me. She likes you. But just make sure you're there to catch her." Lauren said. When I heard Lauren walk into the bathroom I started moving, pretending I just woke up.

"Good morning." I said turning over to smile at Emily.

She smiled. "Hey. Did you just wake up?"

"Yeah." I lied

"Oh okay. Do you remember anything from last night?" She asked hesitantly. I thought back. I remembered her saving me from that douche Brad and she took me and Lauren back here and then she called me babe a few times and kissed my head when I went to sleep. Wow I'm surprised I remember everything.

"Mm yeah I actually remember everything." I said winking at her. She blushed and looked down. I smirked.

Before she could say anything, Lauren came back in the room.

"Morning sleepy." She said smiling at me.

"Morning bitch." I said smirking at her. She punched my arm lightly Chuckling.

"What time do your classes start today?" Lauren asked me

"Umm I don't think I have any today. " I replied. "What time is it right now?"

"Great. It's 7:30 a.m. We have all day!" She said excitedly. I looked at her suspiciously.

"...for what?" I asked cautiously.

"We're gonna go out." She said smiling at me. "And Emily you're coming too so go and get ready guys." She said leaving the room.
"I'll be back in an hour. You guys better be done." She said before walking out the door.
