*I'll sing along, oh

'Cause I don't know any other song.

I'll sing along,

but I'm barely hanging on.

No I'm barely hanging on.

By the time you're hearing this I'll already be gone,

and now there's nothing to do but scream at the drunken moon.*

Bulletproof Love by Pierce the Veil is blaring out of the small speakers in my bedroom as I race around trying to get ready for school in time. I throw on a pair of black ripped skinny jeans, a black shirt with a grey wolf on it and quickly slip my converse on my feet, I grab my iPod off the dock and my earphones and run downstairs.

As I jump down the last few stairs glancing at the time 'Shit it's almost 815, I have to be out to the bus soon' I say quietly to myself so my parents don't here me swear, god kill me if they did all hell would break loose, and I'm not even joking, I mean I would get a massive lecture about it and how un-lady like it is and all the other shit that doesn't even matter. Anyway, I run into the kitchen and grab a juice from the fridge and skull it down as quick as I can as my mum starts to talk with me,

"Aymi darling, are you staying after school today?"

"Maybe mum, I don't know, I will text you later, if I am staying late so you don't stress out, okay?"

"Sure honey, So have you noticed any cute boys lately?" ah there it is, the same thing every fucking morning. I just rolled my eyes at her, she was about to say something when dad walked in, thank god for him.

"Morning Aymi, how are you?"

"I'm alright dad, but I really need to get to the bus soon, so I will see you guys tonight"

I kiss my mum on the cheek and hug my dad as I race upstairs again to put on my makeup.

My makeup consists basically of a light amount of foundation, black eyeliner above and below my eyes, dark black mascara to add to making my bright blue eyes pop and a little bit of clear gloss to cover my lips.

I hear the horn of the bus just as I get back down the stairs and shrug on my black leather jacket, I grab my house keys and my bag and race out the front door to where the bus is waiting for me.

As I get on the bus just as the doors close, I say hello to Dannie the bus driver as I walk to my seat at the back of the bus.

As I reach my seat I realise that there is someone sitting there, I have never seen her before, then it clicked, she must be the new girl that this entire small town has been talking about for the past 2 months. I stare at her, she really is gorgeous, with her long blonde hair that runs down her back in light waves, as I reached the tips of it, I noticed that they are dip dyed bright red. I only realise that I have been staring for too long when she looks at me and takes out her earphones, a shocked and embarrassed look comes across her face when she realises that I have been staring at her and I look into her sparkling hazel eyes all I can manage to say to this gorgeous girl is "You know your in my seat right?"

"Oh, I'm sorry I didn't realise I'm new here, would you like me to move?" she asked in a voice that makes me melt inside.

"Oh no it's fine really. Anyway, hey I'm Aymi" I say as I put my hand out for her to shake as I sit down next to her.

"I'm Syera" she smiles as she shakes my hand.

Suddenly there is a voice interrupting our conversation "Hey, you really don't want to sit with the emo, loner dyke now do you gorgeous?" yelled a voice from a few rows up, I knew exactly who it was, it was Jayden Hartley. the schools popular jock, who in my opinion is a complete douche but no one else seems to get that, anyway back to the bus ride.

Syera turns to me with a look of excitement and embarrassment "Are you lesbian?" "Yes I am and I'm proud, and if you don't want to be my friend because of it whatever then I'm used to it."

"Don't worry, I will still be your friend" she says in her angelic voice as she covers my hand with her own, i feel sparks of electricity run through my skin at her touch, she turns back to Jayden and says,

"1. Don't call me gorgeous and 2. fuck off douche, I will sit with her because she is amazing and you just have no balls" with a huff she turns back to me and removes her hand from mine with a smile, that just so you know is such an adorable one my heart melts when I see it.

We spent the rest of the bus trip talking with each other mainly about her though not that I mind.
