Daniel's POV

I rested my head on her head, while she was resting my head on my shoulder, and we just sat there in a comfortable silence.

This went on for a while, and we were both just deep into our own thoughts. Thinking about life, I guess.

I felt her shiver a bit, this getting me back to reality. I looked at her and realized she was only wearing an oversized shirt.

I took off my jacket and gave it to her. She returned a smile to me while putting my jacket on, her small body getting lost in it.

"Thank you Daniel. Not just for this, for everything. You barely know me and you have helped me a lot already. This shows how big your heart is and every girl would be blessed to have someone like you in their lives."

I looked down at her, a smile forming on my face, putting my arm around her and pulling her close to me in my chest. I kissed the top of her head.

It was like the whole world around us stopped. It was just us two, Just us two in this moment, nothing else. But everything has to come to an end.

It was getting late and I knew that she was probably getting tired.

"We should get back. I will walk you to your apartment." I said while standing up, holding out my hand for her to take it.

She laid her small hand in mine and I helped her up. My hand sliding down to her waist and I looked down at her, locking eyes when she looked up at me.

All of a sudden she pulled me into a hug, kinda taking me by surprise. Not that I'm complaining, because this feeling exploded inside of my body when I was in her arms.

She kissed my cheek quickly before taking my hand, pulling me with her to the elevator.

The elevator came to a stop and we walked out towards her apartment. But with every step we walked closer, I could feel her getting more anxious.

She stopped in front of her apartment door and turned towards me.

"Thank you again, Daniel, for everything. Goodnight." she said with a small smile, which instantly brought a smile to my face, her having this effect on me.

"Goodnight Amelia." I said and I turned around walking towards the elevator. While waiting for the elevator to get to this level, I heard her apartment door open.

"Amelia, where have you been?!" I heard a man say angrily. My curiosity getting the best of me, I turned towards the sound, but before I could see anything the door was slammed shut.

I didn't want to invade her privacy, so as soon as the elevator's doors opened, I walked inside and pressed the button to my apartment level.

When I walked inside my apartment and got ready for bed, the tiredness hit me. But I was glad that I stayed out lat with her.

I laid down in bed, and the noises started again. I couldn't really hear what was said, but I could hear her cry and things being thrown.

The urge inside me to do something was big. But what could I do? I couldn't just barge into her apartment, right?!

After some time the noises finally stopped and sleep took over. Slowly falling into a deep sleep, with her still in my mind.

~next morning~

"What's up, brother!" Zach shouted while jumping on me. Nice way to wake up. I groaned in annoyance and rubbed my eyes. The other boys were standing in my bedroom, laughing at Zach, who now fell on top of me.

I grunted. "Jesus Zach. How the hell did you guys even get in?" The confusion and annoyance clearly being heard in my voice.

"We stole a key." Jack said rather proudly and let out a laugh. I just rolled my eyes and got out of bed.

I got ready for the day and walked towards the living room, where the boys were all sitting now.

"What are you guys even doing here?"

"We got invited to this fancy dinner. So we thought to go shopping for some new tuxedos."

Fancy dinner?

"Yeah sure, just let me eat something and we can go." I said not questioning anything about the 'fancy dinner' and grabbing something to eat.

"How are you and that Amelia girl?" Jonah asked all of a sudden, the curiosity in his voice.

I almost choked on my drink, when he mentioned her name.

"Why are you asking that?"

"I don't know, you guys just seemed close."

I stayed quiet, getting lost in my thoughts. Jonah just left it and didn't question me further.

I finished my breakfast, brushed my teeth and the we left the apartment.
