(Picture is Siren if anyone needed a visual.)

I woke up groggily as I held my head. I had a headache that was pounding in my head as I looked around me. The walls were all white and the bed I was laying in had a black headboard with white blankets and red pillows to compliment the darkness. Two doors, one closed and the other open, stood on the wall on my left. The one that was open lead into a nice little bathroom. On my right, black curtains were drawn at the window and outside, I saw wolves fighting with each other, probably training. In front of the window, the Alpha stood, looking down at the woods on the ground. The sun was setting, casting a soft orange glow on his shirtless torso. His chest was large and had a faint eight-pack shown in his stomach.

I glared at him, about ready to rip his head off but I fought to control my emotions. I took a deep breath, closing my eyes to help calm myself. When I opened my eyes, Alpha boy was staring at me. I narrowed my eyes at him.

"Where am I?!" I growled through my teeth. Alpha boy looked unfazed as he walked to the bed and sit at the foot of the bed. Good. He didn't need to be any closer.

"You're in the Shadowed Moon pack house," he said. "If you haven't figured it out already, I am the Alpha of this pack," I growled at him.

"I'm not stupid! I know an Alpha when I see one!" I said, my anger showing in my voice. He just sighed.

"Look, I'm sorry you had to be brought here by force. I was hoping you would have been more willing to come. Most rogues-" I growled before launching my body at him, hands going for the throat. He was barely able to defend himself before I had him by the throat, pushing against the bed. I'm sure my eyes were glowing red.

"Stop comparing me to rogues!" I said. He clawed at my arms, trying to get my hands off him but I held on.

"Do you understand me?!" He was barely able to nod and I pushed off him, going back to my spot on the other side of the bed and watched him cough, trying to refill his lungs with air. I glared at him, silently telling him that I was perfectly capable of defending myself. When he finally stabilized his breathing, he glared back at me. His emotions hit me like a rock. They were emotions of anger, frustration, and....love? Was he ok?

He started moving his body towards me. My mind flashed and my instincts took over. As he moved closer, instead of trying to get away like I should've done, I tried to make myself small, pulling the covers over my head. My ears were down in fear and my tail was tucked between my legs. He must have noticed my fear because I felt his movements stop.

"What's wrong?" he asked softly. My body trembled slightly as I slowly looked at him. His left ear was down and he looked at me with concern. I started rebuilding my walls quickly as I sat up, trying to look like I was fine.

"Nothing. Nothing is wrong." He nodded slightly but his eyes told me differently. His eyes held his worry and care for me which was starting to get on my nerves. Why did he care if I was ok or not? It's not like I care about him. I mean, he did kidnap me!

"Look," he said. "I know you don't trust me, but I need you here." My eyes narrowed in suspicion.

"Why do you 'need' me exactly?" I said, air quoting the 'need' part of my sentence. He looked down at my hand and tried to reach for it but I growled and pulled my hand away. He sighed and looks at the wall in front of him.

"You're my mate. That's why I need you"
