I remember the first day I saw you,
You were standing there, alone.
I remember our first talk,
How when you laughed, your eyes shone.I remember every word
Of a text thread late at night,
Telling each other everything
That had come into our sight.I remember the fateful day,
When you told me how you felt.
We were talking, and when you told me,
My heart began to melt.I vowed that day, and will always remember
My promise to be loyal.
Even now, that promise still stands,
Through all my troubles and toils. We used to be a glorious match,
But who would know that soon, in time,
Someone else would force us apart?
Now I cannot say that you are mine.
