Bright's P.O.V
"Bright, get the hell up please." a grumpy, feminine voice snapped.
Without opening my eyes, I groaned and waved my hand lamely to shoo the person away.
I easily drifted back to my precious sleep as the room became silent once again.
Win Metawin was sweating a lot. My hands trembled as I moved closer to him to wipe the droplets of sweat on his forehead.
My heart palpitated so loud that I was scared Win will hear it. Our faces were only a few inches away.
His eyes tracked my eyes, nose and then lips..
Are we about to kiss?
Like the opposite ends of two magnets coming together, our lips t-
My body shot up as I felt a slap of water on my face.
I looked up to see Gigie with a grin, holding an empty glass and her usual black clipboard. My eyebrows furrowed in irritation as I knew that my bed was yet again wet for the 3rd time this week.
"I swear you're becoming lazier day by day. Lose hope and you'll never be able to talk to your so-called bunny." Gigie chuckled, heading out of my room before I had the chance to mess up her perfectly styled hair as revenge.
What the hell.
She ruined the best part of my dream.I walked into the bathroom and started my morning routine.
Another day, another failure.
The number of times I've tried to appeal on directing any of Win Metawin's work and failed is equal to the number of times I change my clothes.
There are just way too many talented people out there. Being a rookie in the industry also didn't help.
I hopped into my car and drove to the GMM building with Gigie. She may be annoying all the time but I've grown to treat her like my older sister.
As we walked through the hallways and into the elevator, my eyes widened to see Win Metawin already standing on the corner with P'Eed.
He giggled while whispering something to her and it felt like as if the world became brighter.
I would honestly do anything to see that smile of his.
My eyes scanned his beautiful features while ensuring to deliberately look somewhere else in an attempt to not be obvious.
"Hello, P'Bai." He greeted in the babiest tone I've ever heard.
I gave him a sly smile and tried to put back on a straight face which I found the most difficult thing to do when I'm with him.
"Thank you- I mean- welcome- oh hello too." I laughed awkwardly as I looked away in embarrassment.
That was terrible.
Win and P'Eed waved goodbye as they went out of the elevator first.
As soon as the door closed, Gigie burst out laughing and repetitively smacked her clipboard on my shoulder in amusement.
I felt my ears getting hotter.
"What's your problem?" I clicked my tongue.
"Thank you, I mean your welcome, oh hello too." She imitated mockingly before laughing hysterically again.
I sighed and tackled her playfully so she would stop.
"I will be his director one day, just wait and see." I said as Gigie tried to escape from my arms.
"Uhuh, then better do well tomorrow!" she blurted out as I kept my arms around her neck.
I let go and waited for her to continue.
"You have a meeting to attend tomorrow. Other directors will be there and I've heard ya'll will be brainstorming something? But that's not the point.." she said as we walked out of the elevator and to the office. "It's a chance for you to stand out and get to be involved in Win Metawin's current work."
My feet stopped moving with those words. Tomorrow's meeting includes Win's current work? Isn't 'discussing shows' GMM's tactic to choose the most suitable director for oncoming shows?
Many thoughts flowed through my brain.
Tomorrow's my best chance.
All I have to do is..
beat the rest.— A/N —
