Cassandra Pentaghast
She was one of your party members in Dragon Age Inquisition and appeared interrogating Varric in Dragon Age 2. It is very likely that she will return. Most likely not as a party member but as an Advisor. Considering how she would never just give up on the inquisition it is very likely that she will come to the inquisitor's aid. Whether you made her divine or not, will impact how she is shown in the game most likely. Whatever she does, I don't think she is going to drop her Seekers (If she isn't made divine, she is in control of the seekers) or drop her divine-hood to come and travel with you. But I could be wrong. Since she appeared in the 2 more recent Dragon Ages, it's safe to say she isn't out of the story yet.
Dorian Pavus
Everyone's fan favorite Tevinter is definitely returning. At the end of Dragon Age Trespasser DLC, Dorian leaves to Tevinter to fill his father's place as a Magister. He tells us, during the DLC, that his father was assassinated and that he was going to kill them and then kill the people making Tevinter seem bad. He loves his homeland and wants to make it better. He tells the Inquisitor that he is inspired by how they impact the world and he wants to do the same thing to his homeland. Though his way of telling you this will vary depending on how you treat him but he will go back to Tevinter, one way or another. But it is safe to say that he will be joining us once again. Maybe not as a companion, but it is almost a guarantee that he will return as some sort of character. We have already seen concept art with him, supposedly, in it. So it looks pretty promising. And considering how HE IS IN TEVINTER, it would be utterly stupid if we didn't have some interaction with him.
