"FOOD!" Calum and Ashton said in unison as they rushed to our direction. They almost knocked us off our feet when they grabbed the food we were holding.

"What took you so long?" Calum asked as Mikey and I exchanged looks.

"Are we gonna tell him or nah?" I whispered to Michael.

"I don't know, you're the one who saw Lucy first you should decide--

"Wait...Lucy?" Calum overheard our conversation because of Mikey's loud mouth.

Note to self: teach Michael how to use his indoor voice.

We have to spill the beans sooner or later, so why not now?

"I...bumped into Lucy." After I said that, Michael whacked the back of my head. "Why did you tell him, you idiot?!"

"After all this time, after all the searching I did, she was just here?" Calum said as he sat down feeling stupid. "And she saw you first. Great. Just great. It's always been you."

"What do you mean?" I asked, feeling like something happened back then but I couldn't remember. Michael sat on the high chair and Ashton left the room.

Calum looked confused as well. "You don't remember what happened in grade 10?"

"N-no..." I responded, trying to remember. All I remember is Aleisha, these guys and some of my friends in grade 10. Well, yeah I remember Lucy, she was the queen of the geeks along with Calum, the king of the dorks. But that was just it.

Michael was in deep thought, but then snapped out a minute later. "I got it." Cal and I looked at him, eager to hear what he's gonna say.

"After Luke's first driving test, he bumped into a brick wall and fell unconscious. When he woke up, he said he feels light-headed. Maybe some of your memories got lost in your brain." Michael explained.

"That's ridiculous. The doctor said-

"The heck with the doctor. Maybe he's wrong." Michael cut Calum off. "Luke, what song did you and Lucy sing together?"

"I don't...know."

"He might be lying. Like maybe he wants to forget what happened." Calum said, glaring at me.

"He's not like that, Cal. He's an honest kid. He's our best friend. How about we go to the hospital and clear this situation there?" Michael suggested.

"Fine. But if the doctor says that he hasn't lost a single memory, then forget you had a best friend like me." And with that, he walked out with his fries. Michael stood up from the high chair and sat across me.

"Calum is Lucy's best friend since they were 10. He treats her like his sister. But that changed when he fell in love with her." Michael said. "Then you came around. After our hating-each-other routine, we became friends. You and Lucy were paired-up for a duet for graduation and she was shocked as ever. She really really likes you that everytime she sees you, her heart would just explode. Everytime you had your practice, you and her got closer. Calum got jealous and didn't show his face until graduation. Oh, and he dropped out of school. After the two of you sang, Lucy confessed her feelings for you. And guess what you said."

We stayed silent for a few seconds and I shrugged.

"You said you were with Aleisha blah blah blah and you don't wanna lose her 'cause you love her so much blah blah. Then she cried and Calum and I comforted her. He confessed his feelings for her as well, But then she said she still likes you. They had this huge fight because of you then woosh...bye bye Lucy Cynthia Wright."

It was dead silent and I was processing what Michael just said.

But then Calum entered the room again, along with Ashton. "That was all true. Except the huge fight and...the woosh bye bye Lucy Cynthia Wright." he chuckled nervously. "That huge fight was over. We talked about it already before she mysteriously left. So yeah, she didn't actually left. She was hiding from us all along."
