*On school bus*
As the group of 'populars' come towards the back of the bus my hands start shaking and my breathing gets slightly heavier. Some of them look at me and snigger.
"Emo." One of them says and sits behind me.
"She tried to kill herself before, hasn't she?" a girl with long blonde hair and tanned skin laughed.
Nat looked at them, "Leave her alone for once."
My eyes widened and I just stared out the window.
"But it's true." A familular-looking guy said and sat down next to the blonde girl.
"Shut up, Shade," Nat said.
Shade...
As soon as the bus arrived at school I ran off it and went to my locker, my bestfriend - Xander, was already there waiting for me.
"You remember in kindergarten, was there a guy called Shade with us?" I asked
"There was, why?" Xander asked, glancing his big blue eyes at my wrists.
"Nat told me to sit with him on the bus today and Libby - the blonde bitch - laughed at my suicide attempt and for some reason Shade knew about it." I opened my locker, with my sweater sleeve falling down enough to uncover a few cuts.
"I though only Nat's 'friends' and our friends new,"
"That's what I thought too." I took out my old notebook from my locker and closed the locker.
"Anyway, Happy Birthday!" Xander smiled slightly, still looking at my wrist.
"First of all, yay you remembered, secondly, stop looking at my wrist."
"S-sorry.." He sighed, "How long are you clean?"
"Two days," I changed the subject quickly, "Hey you remember Skylar, Keanu's bestfriend?"
"Yeah?"
"She comitted suicide two weeks ago."
"Really?" his eyes widened.
"Yep, those assholes didn't have the guts to tell Keanu until today and now he's really suffering."
*Bell Goes*
"Anyway, I have to get to English, bye" I started making my way to English, still holding my old notebook when Shade started walking next to me. I glared at him and walked faster then he followed. "Fuck off" I muttered loud enough for him to hear.
"Why?" He asked.
"Because you're some-what 'popular' I don't want to ruin your shit repuation." I snapped.
"Do you actually think I'm popular?"
"No, because I've never seen you around before. Now please fuck off before I'm late to class"
"Oh yeah, I got moved to your English. Surprise." He grinned slightly and looked at my notebook then snachted it out of my hand, "What's this"
"Get off!" He put his arms in the air holding the notebook, "Give it back!" I yelled as a teacher walked past us.
"Shade Dark. Nikki Lakewood. Get to class this instant" The teacher yelled as I started walking off with Shade following me.
"Fuck off." I said as he opened my notebook, which turns out to be my new one where I wrote about what happened to Skylar.
"Who's Skylar? Why did she commit suicide?"
My eyes widened and I snachted the notebook off him, "Mind your own buissness, Shade." I got to English and sat in my usual spot next to Oliver - the 'rebel'.
"Hey, Nik." Oliver said.
"Hey, Ollie." I grinned slightly and looked at Shade who glared at Ollie.
"I think that guy likes you," Ollie said grinning as I bursted out laughing.
"No, Ollie. I usually believe you because you're one of my bestfriends but not this time"
"Trust me, he does."
"Yeah yeah." I rolled my eyes and looked at the teacher.
I swear that Shade has been glancing over at Ollie and I every five minutes. It's kind of scary, but what can I do?
*Bell Goes*
Ollie stood up and shouted, "FUCK YEAH FREE PERIOD NOW!" Nearly everyone bursted out laughing- even our teacher, she didn't get mad at Ollie. She's one of my favourite teachers really. She knows about my disorders, self-harming and suicide attempt.
I stood up and walked out of class with Ollie after we got dismissed, we walked outside to a large tree where Xander already was, but before I got to sit down, Nat shouted my name. So, Ollie decided to stay with Xander and I had to go to Nat where all his 'popular' friends where. Shit. When I got to him, I saw Shade standing next to him.
"Shade has something to say to you, Nik" Nat said with a slight grin on his face.
"Stop grinning, Nat." I looked at Shade, "What do you want?"
"To apologise for taking your notebook.."
"Then apologise so I can go to my friends."
"Um yeah- sorry.." After he said that I turned away as soon as possible as ran back to Ollie and Xander.
"What did Nat want?" Xander asked.
"He wanted to let Shade apologise to me for taking my notebook," Ollie bursted out laughing- so did Xander. "What?" I added
"Did he actually apologise for that?" Ollie asked
"He did. I didn't think he was being serious"
"Anyway," Xander interupted.

This is probably really short, so sorry about that xD

I have to admit Shade is a dick so far xD But trust me he's really nice later on in the story xD
And omf I feel so bad for making Keanu - probably the nicest human being on earth - be in so much pain ;-; xD
