It was about 3 am in the morning and I was watching some youtube, then a tommyinnit video was gonna play after it so I decided to let it play. ('the funniest minecraft mod ever') I honestly thought it was hilarious. A few more videos went by then I started to get tired. I put my computer on charge and roll over to my phone to check a few notifications then plug it in because i need it for school tomorrow.
next day
"alright bye mum, laters Hayley and Matilda" I said very loudly as I walked down the stairs quickly because I was gonna miss the bus. "bye honeyyy, have a good day" mum yelled out from the lounge room.
I speed walked to my bus stop because I was running late but I'm lucky because the bus just came around the corner as I just got there.
*fast forward to 3rd period*
In marine studies we were just watching some Bondi Rescue only because it was our second last day at school then we are on our 6 week Christmas holiday. As I was watching I could hear Sam and Jacob arguing as usual. They have this special love hate relationship, it brightens my day honestly. I put my phone down listened to what there arguing about,
"Stefan or Damon?" Sam asks, "Damon obviously" I don't think I've ever seen Sam so sad and disappointed in one facial expression. Sam looks away from Jacob, "don't talk to me. You've betrayed me"
The two of them are the worst sometimes but I don't know what I would do without them. I scroll through tiktok again and a message from Tubbo comes through asking if I would stream with him. I say yes of course because I could never say no to him, ever.
"do you wanna skip next class with us, we have science and its boring" Jacob and Sam say at the same time. I look at them and they have the biggest smiles on their faces, "I don't have a choice do I?" I ask them. They shake their heads no, I roll my eyes and agree to skip with them.
Nothing really exciting happened when we skipped. We were just chilling in our normal spot were no one can see us which is pretty cool. The bell rings and Sam and Jacob quickly ran off to get to the front of the canteen line as per usual and leave me behind as if I wasn't with them but they always get me food when they do so who and I to complain. I take my time to get to my group of friends.
*skip to when your home after school*
"hey Mum, do we have any snacks?" I yell out searching the pantry and fridge. "you can have something if you tell me why you skipped science today" she said with a smirk on her face. I faked laughed and smiled, "well, um I couldn't be bothered to go and neither did Sam and Jacob so we decided to skip BUT we went to every other class though" I say. She laughs, "Alright well next time if you are, don't get caught yes" she says. "A teacher saw us?" I was so confused, I swear no one could have seen us walk there. "I got a call today saying something about" she said and walked away.
To be honest I though she was gonna have a go at me but she was cool about it? what's happening to mum.
I got my food and went back upstairs to chill, I didn't know what to do, so I went to FaceTime Jacob and he instantly picked up. "n/n" his voice was quiet, he's never quiet since he's always yelling at school. "Hey Hey, you doing anything at the moment?" "nah, why what's up?" He now has his full attention to me, he looks concerned. "Wanna go the fields I'm bored, want sam to come as well?" His eyes light up when I said that, how cute. "ight okk be at your in 10 byeee" and he hung up on me. I may as well ring sam.
He also instantly picked up, "oi Sam, are you doing anything ?" "No why?" " meet me at my house in 10 ok" then I hung up. I just did a Jacob move, omg i'm turning into him.
They both got my house at the same time, probs got a ride together. you hear then knock and a 'let us in' "hello Mrs l/n" Sam and Jacob say at the same time, "Hey boys, why are you two over ?" "beats me, ask your daughter she asked us to do something" Jacob said in his quiet voice again.
"Forgot to say because I got distracted but can i go to the fields with them?" I said with puppy eyes, Jacob and Sam saw me do it so they joined in too, "ahh okk, only because of them puppy eyes. Be careful and come home before dark ok" "yes mum, I'll see you soon, I love you" and just like that the boys and I were out the door.
