Love's Timeless (Legolas and Tauriel)

Chapter 3

Tauriel's POV

Where is he? He is never late for morning patrol.
"Sorry I'm late."
"Finally. Everyone has been waiting for you for the past 20 minutes. Where were you?"
"Let's get going. I'll tell you on the way."
We started walking towards the forest and he started to tell me something which broke my heart. "My father won't let us get married. He said I have to marry Ariana. But I won't let this happen. I promised you I would always be yours."

[FlashBack]

They were both walking in the corridors of the castle. "Let's go to the lake and play." Said the small blue eyed Legolas. "It's too dark, your father will get very angry." Said the small auburn hair Tauriel.
"It doesn't matter what my father says, I am the Prince and I can do what I want. Now come." He grabbed her wrist and dragged her with him. "Wow the lake looks so beautiful at night." "Yeah, I thought you would like it."

They both sat at the edge of the water and dipped there feet in. It was warm. "Legolas, you have to promise me that you are always going to be with me. No matter what. If I don't have you, I'm alone." " I promise."

[End of FlashBack]

Legolas' POV

"It's okay, we'll talk about it later." She said. I could get the feeling she didn't want to be here. But since I told her everything right now, it wouldn't hurt to just tell her one more thing.
"My father has asked me to come back from Patrol 10 minutes earlier. I have a princess to meet. He also asked me to propose to her atop the waterfall.

I saw tears in her eyes. I think I had just crushed her heart. So with that, I stopped talking. I just put my arm around her shoulders and continued walking through out the forest.

"Okay, we've got to patrol some of the edges, and most of the inner forest. Legolas, I, and 6 more guards will patrol the deeper section of the forest."
I was just staring at her while she gave orders. Then she noticed. "What are you doing Legolas? Did you hear the orders I gave? Come on this way. As she spoke, I looked into those beautiful green eyes. Then I followed her.

We heard a rustling noise in the bushes. ORCS! They quickly came running and I slashed one in the chest. 2 more Orcs came and I jumped atop ones head and stabbed both. Then even worse happened. A great bunch of spiders attacked. I shot one with my arrow right between it's eyes. I saw Tauriel fighting. I couldn't miss that auburn hair. She slashed her way through. I saw her cut off a spider leg, and black blood oozed out.
She was too into the fight that she didn't notice an Orc approaching her from behind. I released an arrow from my bow and it hit the Orc, but It didn't die. I quickly ran towards the Orc but i was too late. Tauriel turned around and the Orc stabbed her right in her stomouch. She was falling but I caught her. Another guard killed the Orc. I hugged her and said "No mellon, don't leave me."

Tauriel's POV

I didn't see it coming. I just heard Legolas calling me and I turned around and felt a throb of pain. I was about to fall, but someone caught me. It was Legolas. I heard him say something. " Don't leave me mellon."
But the last word came out with a blur and before everything blackened.

Legolas' POV

I couldn't see her in this much pain. She wasn't conscious but she was bleeding, A LOT.
I held her hand and it was ice cold.
Her eyes were opening. "Tauriel!" I yelled. "Legolas, how did I get here?
"I brought you here silly.

Tauril's POV

I opened my eyes and found myself in the healing room. I saw Legolas sitting right beside me, holding my hand. It was very warm and comforting. I'm so glad to see you again!" He jumped up and hugged me. I hugged him back.
"I have to go in 5 minutes. Lady Ariana is coming." He said in a mocking voice.
After about 5 minutes., he kissed my forehead and left. I tried to get up with the strength I had left. Then King Thranduil came in. "Where do you think you are going in this condition?"he asked. "Oh, I was just coming to report to you, but I trust that Prince Legolas must've reported."
"No, He has not reported yet, for he didn't leave your side till now. "Really?" "Yes. But don't worry, I asked the other guards. Well you must get dressed and cleaned up, because Lady Ariana wouldn't want to see someone dirty. "Yes my lord."
