A Gift for Her (Silver x OC; Christmas Special)

Chapter 4: Meanwhile with Silver, Aleyah and Blaze...

The trio headed over to track down the mysterious thief in Central City and at the same time, thinking about what to give to whoever they're supposed to give.

While they're walking, they each thought to themselves, I wonder what he/she likes.

With Blaze, she thought she could give to someone, who likes peace in his time, so while looking for a thief, they'll stop by at the flower shop to buy a bouquet in a plant pot for...

Silver.

With Aleyah, she kept thinking on what to give to Blaze. Since she's a fan of Sonic and his friends, she racked her brain carefully on what she likes for Christmas. After a while of thinking, she figured about her trust on her friends, so she decided to make a Christmas card for her.

As for Silver... well, let's just say he kept on racking his brain for what he felt like a really long time when he was thinking of a gift to give to his secret crush.

Aleyah.

That's right! He's had a crush on her ever since he first met her on her and Runa's birthday party and the first thing that caught his attention was her enthusiasm on meeting him and the whole gang. You might guess that it explains the time when he gave her a bouquet of flowers for his present to her.

Right now, he needed to focus on his mission as if he needed to be aware of his surroundings and the mysterious thief.

As he was walking and looking for a thief, something caught his eye. At the window of the clothing store, there stood a sunset orange sparkly dress that laid down until a person's legs. This was something he saw thru a picture Aleyah showed him.

Flashback

"Silver, look at this!", she called out to him as he was giving her a tour of his future world.

He ran to her and there he saw a flyer that laid on her feet as she picked it up.

"What is it, Leyah?", asked Silver.

"Oh, look how fabulous this dress is! It's like the one I saw in the window in my time! I really wanted to buy that, but I don't know if it's still available in this time", Aleyah turned to him.

Silver wrapped his arms around her shoulder,"Don't worry, Leyah. Maybe one day, we'll buy that dress. One day".

End of Flashback

Silver looked at it with a big smile on his face as he knew she will love this dress and that it will make her happy. He was brought back to reality when his communicator was beeping,"Silver?!".

He turned on the communicator and it was Sonic calling him,"Y-Yeah, I'm here! What's wrong?".

"Tails, Knuckles and I found the mysterious thief and...", he answered,"We tried to catch him but... we lost him".

"It's okay, Sonic! Just keep looking", he said.

Just as he was about to hang up...

"*screech* Silver? Silver, do you read me?! Stepsis? Can anyone read me?".

He was not the only one who heard Runa's voice. Aleyah's communicator started beeping.

"We heard you loud and clear, sis!", said Aleyah through her communicator.

"Is something wrong?", asked Silver through his communicator.

"We found the mysterious thief, but somehow, he electrocuted Omega", she answered.

They all gasped at what they heard. You can see Blaze listening to their conversation, but at the same time, her communicator beeped and she opened to see Sonic warning her about the same thing. Because he told everyone starting from Silver and Aleyah to Team Rose, to the Chaotix, to Team Dark, then to her.

After a full warning, they both hung up and she continued to listen to their conversation.

"So what happened to him? How is he?", asked Silver.

"Rouge and Shadow are taking care of him while I'm tracking the mysterious thief down along with my chao friends to see where he's heading", she explained.

"Where?!", he and Aleyah asked at the same time.

"He's heading for Central City, so get ready to do the rest!", answered Runa.

"That's where we are right now, but either way, we'll be ready for it!", said Aleyah determinedly.

"Thanks. Do you want me to inform the others or...", she added.

"Actually Runa, Sonic was the one informing the others", Blaze told her.

"Oh", she chuckled,"Okay. Well, good luck on the battle, Silver and Aleyah".

"Thank you!", they exclaimed as they all hung up.

Silver turned away and looked down as he was trying to figure out who the mysterious thief was. Then, thinking of his and Aleyah's first encounter with him, he somehow felt familiar around him. Barely by that voice and the electrocuting. The two girls looked at him in concern.

"What's wrong, Silver?", asked Blaze.

"Runa informed us that the mysterious thief is coming here, so we have to be prepared for it!", said Aleyah, then she felt sympathy for him as she wondered what's wrong with him,"Silver?".

He looked up and faced the girls saying,"I think I know who the mysterious thief is. I'm not completely sure, but either way, we'll be ready for it!".

Then, they headed off to prepare to face the mysterious thief.
