It's been days that the Emerys spent in the hospital for Chloe's well being. She laid in the hospital bed in such a uncomfortable position on her back but she fought through knowing she'd be able to go back home soon.

Gideon slept in the second hospital bed in the room, it was not comfier than Chloe's bed by all means. He was ready to take Chloe home, but that wasn't up to him.

Waking up that early morning Gideon grabbed his Atlas bag full of clothes Jack brought by and he changed into normal wear, including his favorite gray beanie he always wears in battle. Walking to the sink he cleaned his cuts and bruises on his arms and face from the crash off like he did every morning with soap and water.

He planned to talk to one of her nurses in hoping that they'd approve of him taking Chloe home, Christmas was right around the corner. While Gideon was still trying to figure out what to get her, he didn't want her to spend a special holiday in a depressing and uncomfortable hospital bed.

Leaving the front door cracked so he wouldn't lock himself out, Gideon walked spine straight up down to the lobby where nurses coming in for the work day stood together having normal morning conversations while drinking their morning coffees.

The identity of the nurse is engraved to his mind seeing her at lest four times a day so he looked for her from memory.

Once he found her he sighed of relief before walking up to her, he gently tapped her shoulder. "Yes sir?" the nurse sweetly says giving Gideon a tired smile, it was obvious she hasn't went to sleep yet. She was still in her yesterday shift.

"Yes ma'am... I was wondering when my wife and I can get a approval to leave?"

"I can sign you out and you can leave anytime today" the nurse gave Gideon a simple nod with a sweet smile, she made this easier than Gideon thought it had to be.

"Wonderful. Thank you, Miss.." Gideon gave her a smile back before walking back to their hospital room noticing that Chloe didn't move a inch since he left the room. He could barely see her chest move but there was movement there, it's better than nothing.

He knew Jack would be awake for morning workouts with Will and Joker, as it was an everyday thing between the boys. Walking over to the wall phone, Gideon dialed Jack's number waiting anxiously for him to pick up the phone.

"It's Mitchell." Gideon sighed of relief when he heard Jack speak to him.

"Mitchell, mate, how busy are you?"

"I'm with Will at the gym, what is it?"

"The hospital is letting us leave...we need a ride"

Chloe never felt so much comfort before the accident then she did now finally being able to lay on her couch in soft pajamas rather than the rigid hospital bed. The hospital bed felt like hard rock on her back waiting to crack her spine patiently, and her blood soaked hospital gown stiff and scratchy fabric, it felt plastic not even real fabric. Now that she's home she's forced into being bound on either her bed or her couch. Anywhere she can lay flat comfortably. But she wasn't complaining.

Seeing Dempsey again after what felt like years in the dreadful hospital room made her feel better mentally. Seeing his joyful tail shake seeing her again, the welcome back licks, and the barks of conversations was bliss.

Dempsey now had to learn he couldn't lay on Chloe anymore now that she's pregnant, he wasn't used to that he loved using her as a body pillow when they cuddled on the couch. Though now her stomach can only be used as a pillow for his precious head to sleep at night.
