12/15/20 - Little bit of some fluff .

Relationship - Shuichi Saihara x Reader | Fluff .

Walking through the department of where your husband worked, you made your way into his office.  Finding him all alone, his face shoved into the newspaper of that weeks missing person's report. You sigh and walked over to his desk, seeing his stressed out expression made you feel upset with the way he was overworking himself.

" Shuichi . " You said out loud, his expression lifted as he looked up at you.  Immediately sitting up, he walked over to you.

" I thought you were getting out of work at night . " He states as he reached out to hug you, which you return and embrace him.

" I was but I got an early release because of some things with my schedule being moved around . .  I thought I told you to settle down with the amount of hours you force yourself into . . " You say with a worried and saddened tone. Your arms not letting go of him, which he repeated as well.

" I . . I know ,  I'm sorry I didn't listen . " He says, feeling where you came from when stating your concerns for him.  He didn't like it when you worked overtime because you would get home to tired to even spend time with him, yet he was doing the same by rarely getting home due to the many cases he implemented to his boards.

" Lets get home and talk there . . " You say as you drop your arms, hand coming into contact with the warmth of his.

Arriving at your shared home, you glance over at Shuichi. This time he wasn't going into his study as you had expected. Your warm smile was contagious to him.

" Go in to take a shower ,  when your done I'll have something prepared for lunch . " You say as you walk over to the kitchen.

He nodded as he walked away into the bathroom.  You could only feel your love for him grow more every day. You take out ingredients from cabinets and throw everything onto the counter. Preparing something special for him.

After lunch, you thought to do the same as Shuichi. Jumping into the shower for a quick wash, even though you had already taken one in the morning. You thought to wear something more loose and big for your figure. Something as simple as a sweater would do, and just a pair of shorts. It wasn't too much, just something simple seeing as Saturday's were days you had off.

You walk into the livingroom, finding Shuichi watching TV. Layed down, he seemed tired but you could tell there was something not letting him sleep.

You slowly walk over to him and tap his shoulder, " Honey ,  are you okay ? ". He looks up from the TV and into your eyes, you sit by his stomach. Him still laying down, you use your right hand to push the many strand of hair away from his face.

He remained silent for a few seconds, he seemed to be thinking. " I'm okay . " He said with a soft smile.

" I just want to be here with you right now . . " He said, insinuating for you to take a spot with him as he sits up and backs into the couch. You grin and throw yourself onto him, practically sitting on his lap. An action that was normal and had grown to him.

You remember the first time you had, he was such a blushing mess. ( Not that that characteristic had disappeared ,  in fact he still gets flustered over simple things but it is something you grow to love .) He smiles and wraps his arm around your body, burying his face into your neck.

" I love you so much Y/n . " He says, genuine emotion filled his words. You run your hands through his hair, smile growing wider.

" I love you too Shuichi . . " You replied and giggle when he landed a soft kiss on your neck.
