Chapter 19- Chat

Y/N POV

I am super nervous. I told nick that i needed to talk to him and he seemed concerned.

"y-youre not filing a divorce against me right?" he asked 

"what? no! oh my god! i love you and i want to spend my life with you." i tell him grabbing his hand so he knew i wasnt joking. 

It took me a second to formulate the words that i wanted to say. i couldnt find the right ones, so i spit out my thought process

"i...i want another kid. and i know you do too.... but i cant give you another kid anymore.....s-so what if we adopt? if you dont want to, thats okay, i still love you. but its just a thought an-" 

"baby, i would love to. i know you wanted at least two kids. and i am completely oay adopting with you. as long as i get to be with the love of my life, and having a family in whatever way that is, i will take it." he says smiling.

i jumped up and hugged him. he does know how much this topic means to me and how much it hurts me to see them like that. 

After we talked, we hopped on some websites and immediately started looking for a new addition to the Armstrong family. I mentioned that we should start looking at older kids. they dont get enough love because theyre older and i would love to change their lives. After a bit of time looking, we saw one young man who stuck out to us. he was in the same sort of situation i was in and had been in care for way too long. 

"i think hes the one" i said laying my head on nicks shoulder

"well, lets set up an appointment and meet this kid"

the boy we were looking at was 15 and named Zac. hed been in care since he was younger. poor baby.

we finished up everything and went over to BSF/N's and we wanted to tell them the lovely news. I knocked on her door. oh who am i kidding, my ass walked right in unannounced. None of them were shocked though. 

"Soooooooo, we have something to tell yall" i tell while they all have a seat

"I KNOW!!!" BSF/N shouts out.

"i thought you didnt tell anyone" nick whispers 

"i asked her for her input. thats all" i tell him

Everyone was incredibly confused until i told them we were going to possibly adopt this little boy. they all were shocked but understood why we wanted to do it. 

I picked up zoey and told her that she will have a big brother hopefully. she doesnt understand since she is very young, but i hope she grows an incredible bond with him. thats if we are able to adopt this sweet boy. 

*time skip to meeting Zac*

Nicks POV

I could tell y/n was super nervous. This means a lot to her and she will be devastated if it doesnt go as planned. I was driving as usual and i grabbed her hand with my right hand. Typically, id rest my hand on her thigh, but it wasnt the right time. Her hand was very cold. 

"are you okay" i ask her

"y-yeah im okay. just scared thats all" she says

"hey, youll be okay. i promise. just take a breath." i tell her while picking up her hand and kissing the back of it.

We pulled up and she slowly got out the car. I sill was holding her hand walking in there.

"ah yes, i have been expecting you both. you two must be the Armstrongs?" a nice lady at the front desk asks.

"yes maam we are. i am Nick and this is my wife Y/N. Nice to meet you." i tell her while shaking her hand.

"right this way please" she tells us.

We followed her into a small room. She explains that she will bringing us some paperwork prior to meeting Zac. 

Zacs POV

ive been in this dump for a while now. My parents treated me like shit, so here i am. ive lost count of how long i have been here. Nobody ever comes over to the older kids. we are chopped liver here. But i was shocked when the lady said someone was coming to meet me. Im shocked people are giving me a chance. I am a nice kid, but because im older, nobody will take a second look in my direction. 

She told me that people were here, so i followed her to a room. She introduced me to them. For some reason, i recognised their names. 

"SAPNAP AND Y/N?" I yelled out. "i, ive been watching your videos and streams and all that. Theyve made time her a lot less terrible."

"wait, you know who we are?" Y/n asks me.

"how could i not? you two are incredible." 

"why thank you kind sir" Nick says to me

This literally cant be happening. there is NO WAY that they are going to adopt me. thats crazy.

They and the lady who went to get me had been talking for a little bit. i was sitting outside the room to give them privacy. She then finally let me back in. 

"meet you new legal guardians, zac" she says with a nice smile.
