XX - [ Final Trial III ]

Jungkook's request was that they would gather in his place for the final hours to which they all agreed. It was so whoever is the target, Black Bun wouldn't be able to fight with three strong men.. right?

That's what Jungkook hoped in gathering them all. However they don't know who is the chaser and if they really are still alive.

"Wait. What if The Chaser is already.. dead?" Jungkook stated which brought the two men's attention. "The chaser is among us right? That means that The chaser was playing with us.. they ended up being killed by Black Bun."

Jin thought as he puts his index below his chin "That makes sense.. The deaths in the news.. ever since Namjoon's death it was mostly in a coma situation."

"Then the chaser is either Taehyung and Jimin?" Hoseok asks.

"No. They both can be a suspect as well. They were decapitated which means they couldn't really see who they were. They only stated the identity from fingerprints."

"They ran DNA samples of them. That's ridiculous, Kook!"

Jungkook shook his head "Jimin's dad is a part of the police force. It would make sense how the serial killer hasn't been caught even as of now.."

"Then what you're saying is that Jimin and Namjoon are suspected to be the chaser?" Hoseok's eyes widen. He never expected that those who are dead could be a suspect as well.

"Namjoon can't be. The werewolf is not the chaser." Jin states once again to what he remembers to be in his note. "If what you're saying is true then The Chaser is Jimin"

However this is only a theory. This doesn't get rid of the suspicions they have for each other.

"Speaking of notes. I brought what Namjoon had." Hoseok starts to pull out the paper that Namjoon had theorized before. It was the same paper but maybe they could figure it out once they see it in person.

Both had taken a full look of it and still couldn't figure out anything about it. Until the time was near 12 am and they were still lost on who their pick was.

"Who are you guys going to vote for?"

"Does it even matter?" Jungkook sighs "We're here. We can take him down. Jimin or whoever it is won't stand a chance."

The longer Jin thought of it the more lost he became. "I don't know.. Can we just vote you as bait?" He looked at Jungkook as the question was for him.

Jungkook's look gave it off confusedly "No. actually, I don't think any of us should vote. This is exactly what they want, to make us fight amongst ourselves."

There was another thing that lingers in his mind "This number 4." He touches Namjoon's paper "It doesn't look like a number to me."

Both look at the hyung confusedly "What do you mean?"

"This.. isn't a number." His finger slides to Yoongi's name where the word murder is. "This is an arrow."

In an instant they freeze.

"W-What are you talking about? That's not an arrow.." Sweat starts to drip down Hoseok's forehead. "Right J-Jungkook."

When Jungkook's gaze was stoned, Jin couldn't help but quickly backed away from the two. "It's the both of you."

"No wait—!"

Any plea that Jungkook asks will not go through him. If what Jin thought is true then Yoongi , Hoseok, Jimin, Taehyung and Jungkook are involved in murder the entire time.

"The two of you knew.. and you kept quiet." To think that he is not in the same room as two killers is as insane as it gets. "The two of you are fucking with my mind. The chaser is the both of you."
