I wandered through the halls of the Bunker, trying to find where everyone had disappeared to. I had been back for three days. When I got to the door leading to the basement, I heard yelling and snuck closer to hear better.

"You should never have tried to lock him away!" Cass shouted.

"You know what?" Dean replied. "You're right. I never wanted him in that damn box. I wanted him dead."

"Dean."

"He's dangerous, Cass, and you know it! You've known it for a long time! But that's okay. You know why? Because me and Sam, we've killed just about everything there is. And this--- Jack--- oh, we'll find a way. Because he's just another monster."

"You don't mean that."

"The Hell I don't."

Silence fell on the other side of the door. A moment later, I jumped back as Cass came storming out.

"Oh... Angie," he muttered.

We stared at each other.

"What, um... What's going on?" I asked him.

"Dean tried locking Jack in the Ma'lak Box... He's gone."

"Gone?"

Cass nodded in confirmation, running a hand down the side of his face. We both made our way toward the kitchen where Cass grabbed a beer from the fridge.

"Can I--"

"No."

I rolled my eyes, huffing as I took a seat at the island.

"So, what's the plan?"

"Dean wants to kill him."

"What do you want?"

Cass looked up into my eyes, considering the words. I waited patiently, head slightly cocked to the side as I maintained eye contact.

XxX

Cass and I were standing in an alley. Cass was looking through a small window in a door as I stood off to the side, keeping watch.

"I need to go to Hell," Cass said.

"You mean, like, metaphorically or..." the demon on the other side of the door trailed off.

"No. Literally. And I understand you can take me."

"Really? 'Cause from what I remember, you've been to Hell--- more than once."

"Well, this, this--- it's different. I need time to see the Cage and study it."

"Yeah, that's a no. So you can go to Hell--- metaphorically."

"No, don't!"

The demon slammed the window shut and Cass sighed in frustration. I opened my mouth to say something, but before I could, we heard someone else's voice.

"Wow. Yeah."

We both turned to see Chuck staring at us.

"You guys are screwed," he told us.

"God," Cass stated.

"Eh..."

"Chuck," I rolled my eyes.

"There you go," Chuck smiled at me.

"Is it really... How are you here?" Cass asked him.

"You called me?"

Cass and I were in Orlando's Emporium, Cass holding an amulet like Dean's.
