"Hey" Kai says, his dreamy brown eyes looking into mine.

"Hey!" I say, sounding way too excited.

"Who was that over there?" He says, pointing to Noah.

"Oh, that's, that's my, my boyfriend." I stutter.

"Didn't you just," he paused, "Didn't you just ask me out?"

"Yea I guess I get over guys quickly!" I said, trying to improv my way out of this conversation.

"Interesting." he said.

Shit

I think he might be catching on.

I run to Noah, who is sitting at the benches. As I walk, I try to keep calm because if Kai ever found out I tried to pull a stunt like this, I don't even want to know what would happen to our friendship.

"Are you okay?" Noah asked, seeing my worried expression.

"I think hes catching on," I say. I tell him the entire conversation that went down moments before.

"That's not good. Maybe if we kiss or something he might believe us," Noah says, a nervous expression on his face.

Why does he keep saying that? Why is he so eager to kiss me? Does he like me? We've been friends since we were four, I think I would know if he liked me, and he doesn't.

"Why are you so eager to kiss me?" I say jokingly.

"Um, well," he stutters, "I actually need to tell you something."

Is this happening or am I just clueless?
