I get to spend time with Noah. I get to spend time with Noah!
Why am I so excited? Obviously its because he's my friend, right?
The only problem is, I can't see Kai. Too many football practices and too much homework I guess. But, its fine. I'll get over it
Why is it fine? Why am I not heartbroken when I know that I won't be able to see my crush for the next two weeks?
Is he even my crush?
"Hey Noah!" I say, outside the school on the last day before break.
"Hey! I see Kai, let's do our thing!" He says, holding out his hand.
"Actually, let's just finish our work, we can continue this Lara and Peter thing." I say.
"Why, don't you want to get Kai to like you back?" Noah says.
"I'm not sure," I say. Honestly, I don't know how to feel.
I feel a tap on my shoulder.
