"Hey," Noah says, "are we still going through with that plan?"

I never realized how beautiful his emerald green eyes were. I guess I never noticed.

"Hey, we should definitely go through with the plan, but maybe take it down a notch." I say. I can't have Kai thinking I moved on completely.

"Of course, wanna grab lunch later?" Noah says.

"Sure"

After lunch, we decide to go to the park, where Kai is doing his homework.

"Should I talk to him?" I ask.

"No harm in trying" Noah says.

"Hey," I say to Kai.

"Hey Mai," Kai says.

"Whats up?"

"Nothing much, what about you?"

"Same, I'm just at the park with Noah."

"Oh, you're with Noah?"

"Yea, we're just doing homework together."

"Cool," he says, "I have to go, but i'll see you at school."

"See you later!" I say. Why didn't I feel nervous? The adrenaline that pumped through my veins whenever I talk to him was gone. I still like him, right?

I go back to the benches where Noah is, his books all over the table.

"Hey, I'm back. You know what weird? I didn't fell nervous talking to Kai. Do you think I lost feelings for him?" I say.

"Maybe, but you usually don't loose feelings that quickly," he says, "unless..."

"Unless what?" I say, sounding curious.

"Remember that one time you had a huge crush on Jake? But after you saw that new kid, what was his name, Matt, you got over Jake so quickly. Do you have another lil crushy crush that you aren't telling me about?" He says jokingly, giving me a little shove.

"Not that I know of," I say, sounding a little nervous. Why am I nervous? What am I feeling?

Oh no.
