Ah, the hour groweth late
But it's a very important date.

 Your special day is here at last;
On the wall of time a shadow is cast.

I hope it is fun and I hope it is grand,
But now starts a new journey, so take my hand.

You must face fear and you must face fright;
You must dance with monsters through the night.

But have no fear, for I'll be here,
For the next twelve months and the next hundred years,

Because you are my friend and we have such a bond,
That I love you to infinity and beyond.

And we may lose each other in the worst ways,
But for now, let's celebrate your latest birthday.
