I'm Your Safe Place

After the encounter with Youngjae that morning, the newly founded mate couple went on with their day. The Alpha had a few different classes compared to the omega but they would meet up between periods at the younger's locker. 

Many of the other pack members would look with wonder and confusion. Many didn't believe that the two were mates. Though those were just the ones who wanted the alpha to themselves. But others figured it out easily just from the scent of the two of them alone. Even Taehyung's friends figured it out easily, from the omega wearing the olders clothes. 

"So, baby I was wondering if you'd like to sit with my hyungs and me at lunch, you don't have to agree of course" Taehyung spoke softly making sure that his mate was comfortable with the idea he proposed.

"Hm… sure taetae that'll be really nice!" Jungkook smiled as he replied with his cute bunny smile that could make anyone's heart melt just by a single look. 

"Great! I can't wait to introduce my lovely mate to my hyungs" Taehyung gave a smile back as he tickled the underside of the younger's chin, making the younger giggle from the ticklish feeling. 

"Hyungie~ stop~" Jungkook said through his giggles as his eyes turned to cute crescent moon shapes. Taehyung smiled and tipped the younger's head up slightly to place a small light peck on the younger's lips.

"Come on baby, let's go" Taehyung grabbed the younger's hand and they walked from the younger's locker. 

The two carefully weaved around the people who were trying to get to the cafeteria or even outside the school to eat. Taehyung pulled the omega in front of him to keep Jungkook safe from being pushed around or even tripped from the traffic like jam the other students created in the small space. 

Once inside the fairly crowded cafeteria the alpha still held his mate close by his waist and directed him to where the group was. They were seated not too far to the back nor close to the middle. It was a fairly big table, big enough to fit a group of seven or eight. The chairs were of the normal light  coral blue tone, though that wasn't noticeable when people sat in them. 

"Hey hyungs!" Taehyung waved at them with his free hand as they made their way over to the group. 

"Hey taehyung- Oh? Whose this?" An unfamiliar male with light brown hair, that the younger didn't know asked in a curious tone.

"Hyungs, this is Jungkook, my mate" Taehyung gestured to his mate. The omega felt their stares and shyly moved closer to his alpha. 

"Hi there Jungkook, I'm Seokjin, but please call me Jin" the unfamiliar male from before introduced himself with a small smile. 

"Hi Jungkook, I'm Namjoon" another male introduced with a smile and noticeable dimples showing.

"Hello there! I'm Hoseok, but you can call me Hobi if you wish!" The one who seemed to be always smiling introduced himself, but there might've been something else in his eyes.

"Hey, I'm Yoongi" The one who seemed to be dead panning spoke but once he felt the hand of the one with blonde hair his eyes went wide like they were a kitten and not a wolf.

"Hai there! My name is Jimin! We're very happy to meet you!" The one who had touched Yoongi before smiled and waved at the shy omega.

"H..hello.." Jungkook spoke quietly, feeling his shyness build as he met the five there all at the same time. 

"Awee, he's such a shy cutie, Taehyung, you better look after him" Jin warned the Alpha who nodded his head so fast you'd think he'd be dizzy. 

"Come let's sit down baby" Taehyung smiled at his mate and gestured to a chair at the side closest to the sunlight. Jungkook nodded and they made their way over to the chairs and sat down.
