When you were still a kid you remembered that one time you almost gave your parents a heart attack.
You were seven that time and your parents got really worried when you haven't return home when it was starting to get really late.
You chuckled softly at the memory. That was so random, you thought.
It's been years but you can still remember what happened that very day, like it just occurred minutes ago.
You didn't realize that you were already spacing out. You had this faraway look in your eyes, the memories hitting you like a bullet train. Playing vividly like a favorite movie that you remember at heart.
'Huh, I wonder how that kid's doing now?'
You stayed like that for a minute. Homework long forgotten. Not long after, your phone rang breaking your train of thoughts.
Reaching out, you opened it just to see a message from a friend asking if you could accompany her tomorrow.
You remembered how she kept on persuading you to come with her to watch a practice match. A volleyball practice match at that.
You weren't really into volleyball but she did say that she'll treat you something to eat afterwards and being a simple girl that you are, you end up agreeing.
That's why right before the day ended, you told your parents that you'll be gone for tomorrow to accompany a friend. Thank goodness they actually let you this time, considering how strict they were about you going out or hanging out with some friends.

The leaves rustled as the wind blew. Looking up, you saw that the sun was about to set painting the sky a golden and orange hue.
"Y/N!" A kid having the same age as you called in a high pitched voice. Her face was a bit sweaty as well as her shirt. There was a visible dirt on the side of her face but nevertheless she still stood there with a smile as she waved her hand. "Let's play again tomorrow! I need to go home now or my parents will get worried."
"Sure..." You nodded as you watched her retreating back.
Not long after the other kids in the park bid their goodbyes, one by one. Until it was only you standing in the deserted park.
As a child you were very energetic and you don't easily get tired. That's why despite your other friends leaving to return back home, you decided to stay for a bit longer. Hopeful that someone might come to play with you.
Minutes of waiting, you were about to head home when you heard a voice screaming for help. It startled you to the core! Without any hesitation you followed where the voice was coming from. However, just before you got there you heard a loud crash making you wince.
Slowly, you took reluctant steps forward. Head peaking against a large tree, and there you saw a boy lying on the grass with a bike just right beside him.
"Oww, that hurts..." The boy whispered in pain as he slowly stood up and dusted his clothes.
The first thing you noticed about the boy was his hair. It was a dark brown color but a portion of it which was located at the front was colored a shade lighter. Almost blonde.
"Are you alright?" Before you know it the words just slipped from your mouth making the boy look at your direction, eyes wide in shock and embarrasment.
"U-uhh! Y-yeah! Yes! I'm fine!" He replied quickly looking so flustered while moving his bike in an upright position.
You wonder why his bike looked too big for him but you just shrugged it off and walk towards him so you could help.
