Annabeth POV

My child, said Chaos, entering my mind.

Yes dad, I responded

After this quest if your companions survive I would appreciate it very much if you recruit them to the army, he said

Yes! Oh my gods I have always wanted to do this!

Well maybe not always but I wanted to lately

Of course, I replied

Please appoint them as your new lieutenants. We need the extra soldiers, he said

Sure, I replied

Alright then, stay safe, he told me leaving my mind.

I continued my walk towards the lake.

I remember my first, official kiss with Percy like it was just yesterday.

If only we could be at peace.

I took a seat on the dock and waited for the others.

I took out my dagger and started twirling it in my hands.

It was made of the crystals of Chaos.

It can destroy anything, so be it mortals, gods or monsters.

"Hey Annie" said Thalia as she sat down

Then Zoe came a bit rushed

"Alpha" she said respectfully

"Hey" I replied

Then Percy and Nico came running.

It looks like they were having a race.

"Haha I win!" said Percy smugly

"Shut it" grumbled Nico

"Shut up the both of you and sit down" ordered Thalia and I

We looked at each other and smiled.

It's been a while since we spoke in unison.

Then Percy spoke up

"Guys I've gotta tell you something"

"What is it?" Asked Thalia

"Hera gave me a vision just now. She said that we are loosing time and that we need to go to Washington." He told us

"Urgh do we have to listen to her?" I whined

"Yeah, unfortunately" said Percy

I pouted at him as he chuckled

"Guys while I was summoning the dead, they told me that an army is going to attack in three weeks so that gives us a deadline." said Nico

"That's so short" I muttered

"Okay so that settles it. Gemma please go tell Jason and Piper about these attacks. Ask them to prepare the campers." She nodded and sprinted away knowing I would tell her what is going to happen later.

"So we are going to the Smithsonian National Museum of Natural History. Sorry I didn't tell you guys before but I had a dream about us going there. We should be able to find the ring there" I said

Nobody argued.

"I guess that's all them. See you guys tomorrow" I said

They nodded and walked back to their cabins thinking, much like me.

I hope we can do this.

We have to.

For Caleb and Luke.

I will get them back even if it's the last thing I do.
