Chapter 20

Annabeth POV

I woke up to my body hurting everywhere.

I groaned. My ribs are definitely broken.

Dam how high up were we?

I looked at my surroundings to try and see at what height we might've fell from.

Oh. That explains it.

When I looked towards the left I saw a cliff.

Well I can tick that off my bucket list.

I slowly got to my feet and checked if everyone is alright.

Zoe has a gash on her side, nothing major.

Thalia-oh she is special alright. She was just lying down unconscious without a scratch on her skin. It was like the winds carried her. It probably did.

Percy and Nico just had a few cuts and bruises.

I treated all their wounds and made sure they were lying down comfortably.

Then I stuffed a piece of ambrosia into my mouth. Only a quarter though, don't want to waste.

Then I started a fire to keep us warm.

I had power over all the elements so it was easy.

"Shit Blackjack" said Percy as he woke up.

I winced. The pegasus.

I crawled over to him.

He pulled me into a hug. I rested my head against his chest.

I missed this. I was gone for so long.

"Go to sleep Wise Girl. I'll keep watch" he told me. He adjusted me in his lap so I was comfortable.

I didn't argue.

I closed my eyes and fell into a sadly not dreamless sleep.

In my dream, I was in darkness the she appeared.

"Hello sister" she greeted with a smirk on her face.

"What do you want?" I snarled

"I think you know the answer to that sister dearest. I want the universe. I'm here to warn you. Give up now and no one will get hurt." She said with a dangerous glint in her eye.

"Never" I growled

"Suit yourself then. Perhaps you would like a glimpse of what us happening to your friend and our dearest brother" she said

The Caleb and Luke appeared.

They were pale, bruised and bloody.

The guards were torturing them.

They screamed in pain every time they were whipped.

I tried to help but I couldn't move.

I screamed bloody murder for them to stop.

Surprise surprise they didn't.

Then they vanished.

She came back.

"You have three days or they're dead" she said with a grin on her face

Then she vanished.
