~ Chapter 1 ~

I wake up to "Guns and Ships" from Hamilton blaring from my phone's speaker, I groan as I roll over to the other side of my bed. Gradually getting louder, my alarm attracts a tired person into my room.

"TURN THAT OFF!" my brother shouts as he opens the door. He walks over to a lifeless me laying down - stifling a laugh. I suddenly feel a very heavy weight on my feet. I screech, sitting up immediately. In the middle of a laughing fit, I manage to shove him off of me and turn off my alarm.

"GET BACK HERE GEORGE," I yell as I chase him out of my room, "YOU'LL PAY FOR THIS!"

I love my brother, and I'm glad he lets me stay with him while I pursue my dream of being a streamer. He gets very annoying at times however, but I manage.

I walk downstairs after getting changed, and open the fridge to see what there is to eat. I sigh as I close the door and grab my keys before telling George that I'm going to the store. I drive to the nearest grocery store and grab some basic items, sandwich meat, eggs, bread etc.

After a much needed shopping trip, I get home and start unpacking the things I got. George was probably streaming so I didn't want to bother him to ask for help.

I make myself a quick sandwich and head back upstairs to get my stream started. I take a minute to compose myself before I click "Go Live."

I change the category to Just Chatting, and title my stream "Q&A with Niki!"

"Bonjour chat," I say to open the stream, "Today is going to be a bit more relaxed as I'm very tired." I see some 'same' and 'go to sleep' comments flying through the chat. I undeafen in the Discord call to allow for Niki to greet my stream, and we begin receiving donations immediately.

"Is GeorgeNotFound really your brother?" says the robotic voice that reads the donations.

"Yes he is," I answered, sighing. I get asked the same questions every stream, 'Can you tell George I say hi?' and 'Can George say 'Happy Birthday' to me?' I'm glad my brother has fans, but if they want these questions answered or things done they should go to his stream and donate there. I don't want to sound selfish, but I'm my own person and I should be recognized for my content instead of my brother.

"How did you two meet?" says the robotic voice, snapping me out of my trance.

"Do you wanna take this one Niki?" I say with a soft smile.

"Sure!" she responds, she sounds so happy. Niki is like an older sister to me, and if I were to lose her I don't know what I'd do.

"Well, we met through the DreamSMP actually!" you could tell she was very excited to tell this story. "Although Tea isn't on the SMP, we met because Wil told me to join his VC. Tea, George, and Wil were in the call, and as time went on we got to know each other more and more. Now we're best friends!"

It wasn't a very interesting story, but it was one that I enjoyed hearing. Especially from Niki.
