~ Chapter 11 ~

~ Teagen POV ~

It felt good explaining what had happened to Clay. Almost like a weight had been lifted off of my chest knowing that I finally told someone outside of my family. He seemed understanding about it and I was glad he didn't force me to tell him. It made it easier to say.

"Hey, do you mind if I go live?" I asked. I figured he wouldn't have any problem with it, but I just wanted to make sure seeing as we just had a serious conversation.

"Go ahead," he sounded enthusiastic. "Can I join you?"

"Sure," I informed him. "Just let me set up OBS and Twitch, then I can do my intro and we can start. What should we do?"

"We could just mess around in a survival world?" He suggested.

"Sure," I replied. I'm glad I have a server set up in case I ever needed it. "I have a server, so I'll just send you the IP" I clicked on the message box and typed in the server address.

I deafened on Discord and navigated to the OBS icon on the bottom of my screen. I made sure everything was working and I switched to my "Starting Soon" scene in the program. I clicked on the "Start Streaming" button in OBS, and I switched to Spotify and put on my opening song. I let the music flow through my headphones as it filled my ears and helped me calm down - especially after the events of today. I heard the music come to an end and I paused the song before Spotify played it again. As I switch to my facecam scene on OBS, I put on a bright smile and greet my chat.

"Hi chat!" I wave at the camera and watch as all the messages zoom by. "Today we're just gonna be playing some survival with a special guest!" I undeafened in the Discord call, and let Dream introduce himself. I heard a quiet ding from beside me, and looked at my phone to see a message from George.

I sighed and typed out a quick response.

I laughed at his reply and shut my phone off with a click. I tossed it over onto my bed and prayed it would land. I saw it plop down right on the edge of my comforter and let out a sigh that was apparently quite loud because I heard a chuckle come from the other end of the Discord call.

"What are you doing?" he asked between laughs. I rolled my eyes and just went back to talking to chat. I logged onto the server to see Dream running in circles around spawn. I positioned my fingers over the WASD keys and shift so I was ready to start actually playing the game.

"Are we speedrunning?" Dream asked

"Calm your DUDUDUDU lookin' ass down bucko." I made sure to sing the speedrunning song part of my sentence really loud so my mic would hopefully distort it.
