~ Chapter 7 ~

"-eeping?" My eyes slowly flutter open as the blurry room around me becomes more clear. I see George and Wilbur looking at me and they seem to be hiding smirks.

"What are you two cackling at?" Wil can't seem to hold back his laughter anymore seeing as he starts dying of laughter. George soon joins him, and I look around to see what had happened. I look to my right only to see Niki asleep on my shoulder. I felt my face heat up slightly, although I wasn't quite sure why. I shake my head and slowly shake my shoulder to wake Niki up. As she sits up, she yawns and stretches her arms a bit. I look over to her and giggle at what had happened, and naturally she's confused. I explain the situation because I'm not having a hysterical laughing fit like someone else in the room at the particular moment in time.

After discovering what happened, her eyes just widen and her cheeks are dusted with a very subtle hint of pink that quickly fades. She starts to laugh too, and soon enough everyone is laughing at the circumstances of Niki and I's nap. It was around seven o'clock so we all just messed around in Minecraft for a bit since we had laptops that Niki and Wil used. We played on Hypixel playing a bunch of different games such as Bed Wars, Build Battle, and Party Games - which obviously included a surplus of Technoblade references. None of us were really good at any of the games, but George and I did decently in Bed Wars since we are kind of good at PvP.

After around an hour and a half of playing, we all got pretty hungry, so we decided to go out again. We figured we should treat ourselves considering we had McDonald's for lunch. Niki and I walked up to my room, and I tossed her a cream colored dress with a knitted-type bodice and floral skirt. (A/N I'm really trying here-) I chose to go with a beige sweater and a high waisted, black, skirt. I paired it with a pair of dark brown tights and white sneakers since I didn't want to be wearing uncomfortable shoes. Niki finished changing and I handed her a pale pink sweater with matching tones as the skirt. We headed out of my room and back down the stairs into the living room. I assume George didn't like how I was wearing my sweater because he walked over to me, and pulled the neckline up so it didn't hang as low.

"I liked it before though," I complain, dragging out the last syllable. "It was comfy and now it's practically strangling me."

"It was too low," George seemed sincere and he was acting very much like a parent. I loved him, but he could be a little over-bearing sometimes. I ran up to my room and found a more tight fitting white shirt laying in a heap near the corner of my bed. I swiftly scooped up the piece of fabric and quickly took off my sweater before putting it back on over top of the shirt. I double checked that I had everything from my room, as I grabbed a small backpack and threw in my wallet and my phone. I also put my travel makeup bag in just in case we needed to do a quick touch-up or some finishing features in the car. I hurried out of my room and down to the living room where the others were waiting. I slid on my shoes as we all headed out to the car to make the painstakingly long 10 minute car journey to the restaurant.

While we were driving I was just scrolling through Twitter - as you do - when I heard a certain lyric from the car stereo.

"'Cause after all this time
I'm still into you"

I look up from my phone to see George turn his head to look at me as he turns up the volume of the song. He was giving me a 'You know what to do' look. I returned his glance, as I prepared for the beat drop before the chorus. 

"I SHOULD BE OVER ALL THE BUTTERFLIES," George and I both started screaming along to the words of the song, while Niki and Wil just laughed at us. I looked over at Niki while we were singing the song and she was smiling just as bright as she always was. She had the kind of smile that could brighten up anyone's day, no matter how terrible it was. When Niki and I met, I still hadn't done a face reveal yet because I used to get made fun of for what I looked like. Niki and I became best friends pretty quickly, and we would FaceTime almost every night. She would compliment me, tell me that I was pretty, and that if I did a face reveal it would be nothing but positive feedback. Not soon after we met, I did a special stream with Niki where I showed my fans what I looked like, Niki was right. Basically all of the feedback was positive, except for the occasional toxic fans.

~ TIME SKIP ~

When we arrived at the restaurant, I quickly touched up my eyeliner, and hurried out of the car to catch up with the other three. Since we had made a reservation ahead of time, we were escorted to our table after about a minute of waiting in the seating area with the other customers. When we got to the table, the waiter handed us our menus and away to help another table. I quickly pulled out my phone and opened the messages app.

I rolled my eyes as I clicked the power button on the side of my phone and slid it back into my bag. After a few more minutes the waiter came back to the table and we ordered our meals. The food was delicious, and it was probably the nicest meal I did, and probably will have, in a long time. The last time we had a nice dinner like this was when George and I still lived with our parents. We paid for the food and walked back out to the car. We drove Niki and Wil back to Wil's house since he and Niki were staying together for her stay in Britain. I said my goodbyes to them and waved as we drove off.

"Today was really fun," I told George as we drove back to the house. "Thanks for that." I smiled at him as he turned the wheel to turn on to our street. The car pulled into the driveway, and I grabbed my bag from the backseat. I pushed open the heavy car door as I step onto the dark pavement. I make my way to the front door of the house, and I turn the small brass knob to open the door. I take my shoes off, and walk upstairs to my room. I pull off my sweater and change into a hoodie. I plug my phone into the charger and put it on the light nightstand next to my bed. After what felt like hours, I felt myself slowly drifting into an unconscious sleep.

A/N I FINALLY  FINISHED THE DAY!! I hope you all enjoyed the last three chapters, I will try to make the chapters longer because I personally enjoy doing it. Don't forget to stay hydrated and have a good day!
